Sebastian had no time to react. The force was too strong, and he was pulled in before he even realized what was happening.
As he passed through the glowing portal, he found himself deep underwater. The pressure was immense.
Based on his estimation, they were at least 1.8 miles below the surface. Even the grandmaster, let alone ordinary people, would be crushed at such depths.
A normal divine grandmaster would struggle to withstand this pressure. Only those middle-stage and late-stage divine grandmasters, who could use their energy to shield themselves, might survive. Even then, only if they ascended quickly. Otherwise, it would be unbearable.
Sebastian was already a demigod. His body was incredibly resilient, almost comparable to the finest magical artifacts.
Whether it was one mile or even ten miles, the crushing pressure of the ocean wouldn't faze him.
While not as powerful as Sebastian, Fressia was also a pinnacle divine grandmaster and was close to stepping into the Demigod Realm herself.
The water pressure posed no threat to her either. They quickly broke through the surface together.
Above them was a clear blue sky, with white clouds scattered across the horizon and the sun shining brightly overhead.
"We're back! We made it out," Fressia exclaimed excitedly. The days spent in that dark, subterranean world had been nothing short of a nightmare for her.
As the Holy Maiden of the Everlight, pure and untouchable, the fact that she had been married was not just her personal shame but a disgrace to the entire Everlight.
Fortunately, it was all over now. As long as Sebastian kept quiet, no one would ever know.
Fressia wasn't entirely sure if she could trust him. She turned to him and said, "About our marriage during the time we lost our memories... I hope you can keep it a secret. If not..."
"And what if I don't?" Sebastian teased.
Fressia was at a loss for words. She knew well enough that Sebastian was now a demigod. Even if she and Bellamy teamed up, they wouldn't be able to defeat him. Any threats would be pointless.
"Please, I'm begging you. Don't tell anyone," Fressia pleaded, adopting a look of helplessness.
Seeing her like this, Sebastian simply nodded. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone. However, don't celebrate just yet. We might not be back in our world."
"What do you mean?" Fressia asked, glancing again at the sky. The blue sky, the clouds, and the sun, it was clear they were no longer in Coreland.
