"Kathy! Why is it you?"
Everyone was left in utter shock. However, Oslo was beyond speechless. The bride he had married turned out to be none other than Kathy, his mother's staff. She was old enough to be his grandmother.
He was disgusted as he recalled the previous night with Kathy. He had sex with this old woman, not just once but several times.
"Get out!" Oslo became furious instantly, slapping Kathy hard enough to send her flying across the room. He then whirled around to face Sebastian, fuming.
He was the crown prince of the Twilight Empire, yet he had spent the night with a woman old enough to be his grandmother and even gone through a wedding ceremony with her.
It was beyond humiliation. It was absurdity, the likes of which would soon spread across the world, making him the biggest laughingstock in history.
"How dare you! This is all your doing! I'll have you torn apart, limb by limb, until there's nothing left but dust! Otherwise, I won't be satisfied!"
Sebastian dropped the act and laughed coldly. "You've got a lot of nerve to dare to lay your hands on my woman. Just consider this as a small warning. If you keep being arrogant, I won't hesitate to destroy you."
"Activate the formation! Kill him!" Oslo shouted in anger.
At that moment, a trap that had been meticulously prepared sprung into action.
The floor split open, releasing thick black smoke that rose swiftly. In an instant, the entire palace was engulfed.
Those who had been invited to the wedding had long since retreated when Oslo had commanded them to, as they were well aware of what was going to happen.
Now, only Sebastian and Fressia remained within the fog-covered palace. The thick black mist filled every corner, obscuring their view. They could only see faint and fleeting shadows darting everywhere.
