Caspian's move was equally devastating, amplifying his power more than twice over. It was very powerful.
The clash of the two techniques sent a resounding shockwave through the air. The white beam shattered into pieces, but the resulting energy explosion sent Caspian flying. He spat out a mouthful of blood in mid-air, his face full of fear.
The two warlords were also caught in the blast. As they were pushed back, their insides churned, and they almost coughed up blood.
Sebastian didn't escape unscathed either. The sheer force of his technique had drained his remaining spiritual energy. He was left pale, drenched in sweat, and gasping for air.
He knew that it was impossible to defeat Caspian today, so he turned and fled.
"Stop him! Don't let him escape!" Caspian yelled.
He forced himself to stand and chase after Sebastian, despite his injuries.
The two warlords followed suit, chasing him.
Being weakened from his previous attacks, Sebastian couldn't move as quickly. He barely managed to escape the Imperial Chaplain Manor before the three caught up with him.
Left with no choice, he turned to fight again, using his powerful physical strength to engage them. His relentless attacks kept the three at bay for a time.
However, none of them wanted to risk their lives in this fight. After all, they each only had one life to lose.
Sebastian unleashed a series of furious strikes, forcing his enemies back, then once again turned and fled. He fought and retreated, eventually making his way to the city gates.
Beyond the city lay a forest. If he could make it into the woods, he might have a chance to escape. However, Caspian wasn't going to give him that opportunity. He mobilized the city's defense forces to launch a full-scale assault.
