If they offended the Olsen family, the consequences could be disastrous.

In fact, Dorian's expression darkened. "Ms. Gardner, did you just say you refuse? Do you think my son is unworthy of you?"

Korbin was furious as he said, "Marriage is a matter decided by the parents and matchmakers! I'm marrying you to Mr. Timothy, and you can't say no!"

"Don't push me! I would rather die than marry him," Kaitlyn declared stubbornly. She had no affection for Timothy and found him insincere and unsettling. The thought of being with him filled her with unease.

Dorian said coldly, "You claim you're in love with someone else? Who is this person? Call him here. I want to see if he is truly more worthy than my son!"

Kaitlyn panicked. She had only said that to find a way out of this situation. If she had to name someone, the first person that came to mind was Sebastian.

After all, he was the man who had made her lose her virginity.

Although it wasn't something she had wanted, it wasn't entirely unforgivable. She didn't have any particular hatred toward him.

However, she couldn't say that it was Sebastian because if she were to do so, it would only bring harm to him.
