Romulus knew that Sebastian was no ordinary figure, so he addressed him as "Mr. Wilder".
Everyone present was stunned when he kneeled, including the Berry family and Leila, who looked on in shock.
Deimante felt a rush of astonishment. Just when she thought Sebastian might encounter trouble, she never expected he had a secret identity that could bring Romulus to his knees. This was beyond anything she could have anticipated.
"Mr. Hackbart is kneeling before that brat? Who on earth is he?"
Orson hurried forward and exclaimed, "Mr. Hackbart, you must be mistaken. He's just a moocher and a loser. Why would you kneel before him?"
Romulus was about to lose his temper when Gaius and Bryn approached.
"Mr. Hackbart, Orson is right. This brat is nothing but a loser. Why would you kneel before him?" Gaius asked, puzzled.
"What do you know?" Romulus snapped.
He continued, "Ms. Branch just informed me through the transmission opal that we have a distinguished guest in the restaurant who is quite upset and instructed me to come down quickly to deal with it. It's obvious that Mr. Wilder is the guest in question. How dare you treat him with such disrespect!"
"What?"
Everyone gasped in shock. Stephanie was rumored to be Supreme One's assistant, and the esteemed guest she mentioned could be himself or someone equally notable.
All eyes turned to Sebastian, who stood with his hands clasped behind his back, exuding an air of haughty superiority.
"Could he really be the big shot?"
Everyone's expressions were a mix of doubt and curiosity.
Romulus exclaimed while Gaius and the others looked equally shocked.
The Supreme Merchants Guild issued three invitation cards—regular, VIP, and golden. The four prestigious families received the VIP, while golden invitation cards were seldom sent out.
Everyone had only heard of them before, so they couldn't believe that Leila actually had one.
"Ms. Jarvis, how did you get a golden invitation card?" Romulus asked.
"What's that supposed to mean? Do you think I'm not worthy or that Swordity doesn't deserve recognition?" Leila shot back, annoyed.
"I wouldn't dare imply that," he quickly explained. "I meant that we've only seen the regular and VIP invitation cards until now. Would you mind showing me yours?"
Leila nodded in response.
