Orson waved his hand and commanded, "Get him!"
A group of security guards quickly surrounded Sebastian. Just as they were about to take action, Sebastian said, "I suggest that you get your facts straight before laying a finger on me. You really wouldn't want to get yourselves into trouble."
"Brat, you're facing your doom and still talking nonsense." Gaius sneered. "Orson, don't listen to him. He's just a loser without any connections and no invitation. Get your men to throw him out."
Orson glanced at Sebastian and felt uneasy about his confidence. He asked tentatively, "Mr. Blanc, are you sure he's just a loser?"
"Of course! Do you think I'd lie to you?" Gaius shot back. His tone was laced with annoyance.
Trevor chimed in, "Orson, I can confirm that. He used to be my son-in-law, and he's got no connections. He's a complete loser."
Orson's expression darkened as he glared at Sebastian. "You've got some nerve, brat."
Sebastian didn't flinch. Instead, he smiled wryly and asked, "You believe everything they said, and my words mean nothing to you. Is this how Romulus Hackbart taught you to do things?"
"That's just plain outrageous! How dare you address Mr. Hackbart like that!" Orson snapped, and fury etched across his face.
"Orson, stop wasting time with him. The Supreme One is coming, and if he witnesses this, there's no telling what his anger might bring down on us," Gaius reminded him.
"You're right. I almost paid for this loser's mistakes with my life." Orson quickly thanked Gaius. Then, he turned to Sebastian and commanded, "Break his limbs, destroy his cultivation base, and toss him out!"
Everyone was smirking, and their expressions were devoid of sympathy. They were convinced Sebastian had brought this trouble upon himself.
Sebastian remained composed, and his hands were clasped behind his back as if he were just a spectator watching the drama unfold.
"Stop right there! I'm curious to see who's brave enough to make a move on him!"
"Shut your mouth!" Deimante said coldly. "Mr. Wilder is a distinguished guest at the Bejeweled Tower and also my friend. Your slander is an affront to us."
His face turned pale with fear. The influence of the Bejeweled Tower was indisputable. Even his boss, Romulus, couldn't afford to cross them.
Deimante turned to Sebastian. "Don't worry. As long as I'm here, no one will harm you."
Sebastian felt a warmth bloom inside him as he looked at her. He hadn't expected her to stand up for him.
While Orson cowered, Gaius and Bryn were unbothered.
Gaius grinned mischievously. "Listen, Deimante. This brat hasn't just crossed us, but he's also offended the Supreme Merchants Guild and the Supreme One. If you decide to stand up for him, you'll be at odds with the Supreme One. Just think it through."
