Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 1078

"Darling!" Irina cried out in despair when she saw Jaric in danger.

"Dad!" Lucina's face showed nothing but terror and helplessness as tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Mr. Novak!" The other Novak family members were equally alarmed. They could barely protect themselves, much less come to his aid.

Just as the terrifying energy was about to strike Jaric, there was a thunderous blast. Then, a rocket blasted toward the incoming energy.

Sebastian stood a short distance behind Jaric with a bazooka over his shoulder. As he fired the missile, he reached out with his free hand and used an invisible force to pull Jaric to safety.

With a fiery trail blazing behind it, the rocket raced at blinding speed toward the lethal energy Trent had unleashed. They collided midair in a blinding explosion and lit the sky like a supernova.

Amid the brilliant flash, their energies clashed violently and spiraled into a massive vortex. It swirled like a black hole and consumed everything around it. Trees, boulders, and anything within reach were instantly crushed to dust.

The Novaks members standing in formation with Jaric were caught in the shockwave as each one was hurled into the air.

Fortunately, they were at a safe distance, and their considerable cultivation base allowed them to endure the impact. Though their injuries worsened, they weren't in mortal danger.

Trent was closer to the blast, but his high cultivation base allowed him to react swiftly. He immediately activated his spiritual shield to block the shockwave upon sensing imminent danger. Still, the force caused his internal energy to surge wildly, and he couldn't help but gasp in surprise.

The explosion shocked everyone. Both sides immediately stopped fighting and regrouped behind their respective family leaders.
