Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 1073

Just then, as he was tending to his wounds, Sebastian abruptly opened his eyes. His gaze was sharp and unwavering as he fixed it on Harlan and his group.

Enduring the pain, Sebastian drew his long sword, channeling the last of his restored energy. With a powerful strike, the blade flashed like lightning and pierced through Alexis before he could even cry out, leaving him collapsing lifelessly.

Another man was struck in the same instant, falling dead on the spot.

"Run for your lives!"

The remaining three looked on in horror before turning and fleeing in desperation.

Sebastian's face was etched with fury and determination. Though he tried to pursue them, his weakened body caused him to stumble.

At that moment, Delaney, who had watched everything with a mix of despair and hope, rushed to his side and helped steady him.

"Are you alright?" she choked out.

Sebastian looked at her with a trace of guilt and tenderness.

"Sorry for frightening you," he replied weakly.

Delaney shook her head as she cried. "If anyone should apologize, it's me. I dragged you into this. You're seriously hurt… just sit down and tend your wounds."

With Delaney's help, Sebastian eased back down, retrieving two spiritual stones to replenish his strength.

Since training in the Law of Force, his body had grown remarkably resilient, and his recovery rate was impressive.

In just those few moments, his injuries had already healed significantly.

Still, the lingering side effects of the Blood Demon pill left him feeling drained.

Delaney turned to the young girl nearby. "Sweetheart, why were those men after you? Also, where is your family?"

The girl dropped to her knees, eyes brimming with tears. "Please, save my family!"

Delaney patted her head affectionately. With the Novaks' expertise in forging, helping them might indeed prove beneficial in the future.

Meanwhile, Harlan and the others finally stopped after running several miles.

"Damn it! Who would've thought he was that powerful? Alexis and Vic were both six-star demigods, and he took them down in one strike.

"He must be a pinnacle demigod, or maybe he is a Lesser Deity Master," Harlan muttered, both furious and shaken.

"So, what do we do now, Harlan?" asked one of his men.

With a sigh, Harlan replied, "We captured the girl to force the Novaks into disabling their formation, but that's all down the drain now.

"We'll have to explain to Mr. Milton. It's a shame, though. That beauty… I can't believe that she is from the royal family… I can't even use her, what a waste."

"Yeah. If Mr. Milton sees her, she'll be his, and we'll just be left watching," the other two said with regret.
