"Run? Why should I run?" Sebastian asked in confusion.
Enrique sighed in exasperation. "Didn't I just tell you? The Karcher family is incredibly powerful. You've offended them, and they won't let you go!
"If you don't leave, are you planning to stay here and wait for death?"
"They're nothing more than ants. Why should I care?" Sebastian replied dismissively.
Enrique spoke seriously, "Sebastian, I know you're strong, and Waylon probably isn't your match. But his family has several Lesser Deity Masters.
"Even if they can't do anything to you today, they'll come for you later. You can't fight them alone."
Roman nodded in agreement. "Mr. Styles is right. Live to fight another day. You should leave now."
But Sebastian simply smiled and shook his head. "I'm not going anywhere. The Karcher family is hardly worth my concern."
Ramiro sneered. "Sebastian, your boasting gets more outrageous by the day. Now you're claiming you don't even care about the Karcher family? You're seriously overestimating yourself!"
Enrique's tone grew harsher. "Sebastian, I'm telling you to leave for your own good. If you stay, you won't even stand a chance."
At that moment, Deimante approached them.
"Ms. Deimante!" Shannon and the others grew excited when they saw her and quickly greeted her.
Ramiro flashed a charming smile. "Deimante, where have you been? I thought you weren't going to take the exams."
Deimante ignored Ramiro, merely nodding at Shannon and the others before turning to Enrique. "Mr. Styles, I heard everything you were discussing. Sebastian doesn't need to leave.
"The Sidorov family still has some connections in Wonderton. If the Karcher family targets him, I won't just stand by and watch."
"That's wonderful. I'll count on you to look after Sebastian," Enrique said with relief when he heard her offer.
Consequently, its price was astronomical, reaching at least several hundred thousand spiritual stones. If the mystic crane was akin to a regular car, the training hawk was a luxury sports car.
Standing atop the hawk's back were two elderly men. One was thin and frail-looking, with a penetrating gaze that inspired awe. The other, with an air of refinement, wore the robe of a weapon-making master.
The robe's cuffs were embroidered with four small golden swords, marking him as a fourth-tier weapon-making master.
"It's the Royal Academy's deputy dean, Cassius Castro! And Mr. Lovell from Winder Weaponry!"
Someone recognized the two elders, and the crowd immediately showed respect.
The deputy dean of the Royal Academy was a true heavyweight. Even the heads of top-tier families had to be courteous around him.
As for Sevyn, his reputation as the second-ranked weapon-making master in the Windwalker Kingdom meant his status even surpassed that of Cassius. Even the royal family would extend him special courtesy.
