Gloria snapped back and shook her head. “Not really.”

She thought of Angela but felt that there was nothing she could share with Jordy.

Their relationship was subtle. Even though he had found out that Angela was not his rescuer, she was still special in his heart.

Gloria said in a soft voice, “Nydia, how about we go back?”

Nydia had come to see her this time with the very purpose, and she knew it.

Nydia was a little surprised. “But you’re injured. It’s not convenient for you to go back now.”

“How about… we bring a doctor along?”
