Gloria's hand on the steering wheel paused, and her eyes were full of hesitation. She didn’t speak,not knowing how to respond to Nydia.

"Go to your house, okay? I want to stay at your house tonight.” 

Gloria pursed her lips and started the engine without saying anything.

The two went upstairs together.
