Chapter 461 Jonathan's Grudges 

Gloria thought it was the hospital calling and immediately picked up the phone. But when she saw it was Jordy, she frowned and hung up without hesitation.

Jordy was ready to speak, but he didn't expect a mechanical female voice to come into his ear. “Sorry, the number you have dialed is busy..." 

Jordy's face darkened a few notches. He immediately called her again. But... She hung up on him again. He called again but found his phone number was blocked.

 "Gloria!" Jordv yelled through his gritted back teeth. He immediately called Harold. 

"Come here with your phone." Confused though Harold looked, he went to Jordy's office immediately. Just after opening the door, Harold could feel Jordy's freezing aura all over the office. 

Feeling surprised and puzzled, Harold handed his phone to Jordy. Jordy took the phone to call Gloria again, but then he glanced at Harold and ordered in a deep voice, "You need to leave." 

Harold nodded and turned away, still confused. 

"What are you doing?" Gloria closed her eyes, pinched her brow, and said, "I'm taking a rest."

 "Well, you must be very tired. How about I bring you lunch at noon?" Gloria frowned slightly, "No, thanks. I had a late breakfast. I'm not hungry." 

"You can't skip lunch." Jonathan's gentle voice was laced with firmness. Gloria didn't want him to come over at all, so she said seriously, "Mr. Brown, I just want to rest."

 "I feel bad because you're tired from taking care of another man." Gloria paused for a moment. He knew about this too. Jonathan sounded worried, but Glória sensed a little bit of resentment in his tone. She didn't want to look deep into it but spoke calmly, "Mr. Brown, I need to rest. I am too tired to entertain you."
