Rejected Luna: Untamed Desire Of The Lycan Alpha novel Chapter 382

Chapter 382: Hunt

"A pack...war?" There was so much judgment in her tone that it wasn’t even funny. She had seen the shamelessness of varied degrees; don’t get her wrong. She had seen a lot of it, but she had never—not once seen a man trying to stoop so low. Forget about that. She had seen it. Many times. And that was why Dominic pissed her off. He chose to let go of Inez, and now that her destiny had been entangled with Killian, he wanted her back. She was willing to bet it was not even about him and Inez.

It was more of a ’why him’ or ’how dare she’ kind of situation.

"That’s right," Finn responded with a curl of his lips. "Of course, neither Ajax nor Laxus is going to accept his threat calmly. This was bound to happen, and honestly, Dominic needs to rein in that arrogance of his."

Indeed.

Tracy studied the man in front of her; her eyes were narrowed as she muttered, "Shall I turn him into a pig?"

"I thank you for your input, but no, I don’t think the council will like it if you turn one of their members into a pig." Finn pulled the woman away, as he was afraid that she might really do what she said to him. The last thing he needed was to catch a rather arrogant pig in the middle of the night. And while it might be quite easy to have Dominic turned into a pig, he had a subtle feeling that maybe, just maybe, it might not be that easy to have him turned back into a human. He had no idea why he had this thought; he just had it in his mind.

You better not touch him; you are already walking on a very, very, VERY thin line, Tracy. Martha warned in a low grumble.

And she was very right about that. The watch on her wrist was buzzing so hard that she could feel the vibrations against her bone now. It was definitely going to leave an aftereffect. She just knew it. It irritated her so much that she wanted to yank that thing off and throw it away, but she knew that it was going to return. Ancient god magic and whatnot. It was like having a damn collar around her neck like a dog, and it was not a good feeling, alright.

She wanted to ignore it, but she couldn’t because Tracy knew that the gods would not leave her alone unless she read their messages.

Sighing, she raised her hand and tapped on the screen of her smartwatch. The buzzing notifications pulled her out of whatever dissociative dimension she was living in at the moment and grounded her back to reality. That faint buzzing in the back of her head disappeared along with the lightheadedness.

She looked at the notifications and felt her brows twitch in amusement. She knew that the gods and goddesses were going out of their freaking minds, but really? Ten thousand notifications?

[ God of the Underworld: You do not have the right to send so many unregistered souls to my domain.]

[ God of the Underworld: You have gone crazy! How am I going to stuff these many souls? My realm is already overpopulated. Do you even know how many lanes have been busy due to stuffy traffic? It had been more than a decade of centuries.]

[ Goddess of Magic: You have released too much aether in the human world, Tracy.]

[Goddess of Magic: How in the world are you going to recycle that much magic?]
