Regal Guard of Dragon novel Chapter 854

Though the woman's memory was hazy, Finn still came nearby to the place as she had pointed.

It was a big manor. It was said that the area was personal. There were cameras at certain intervals.

Standing beside the fence, Finn found there was a helicopter, surrounded by fancy cars, on the parking apron.

There was no one here, so Finn had to find the door on his own.

As soon as Finn walked close to the door, a guard stopped him.

Now, Finn was worried about the safety of Yuer, so he wasn't afraid of the guard.

"Stop, this is a personal area."

Finn didn't respond but walked to the door. The guard came to stop him immediately.

The guard grabbed his arm and said, "Who are you? How dare you come here."

Finn pushed him over. That guard got mad and called for help.

Several people came out of the security room, holding truncheons.

"What happened?" someone asked.

"I don't know. This guy is trying to walk in."

So, they all looked at Finn.

But Finn had walked in the door.

"Hey, stop there." Several people came after Finn.

They opened the door and chased him.

Since Finn was concerned about Yuer, he rushed to a house not far away. Those guards couldn't catch him though they were fast enough.

Finally at the door of the house, Finn stopped and looked at this splendid house like a palace. The decoration outside alone was extraordinary.

The men chasing after him caught up at last. When Finn was ready to walk in that door, the majestic rosewood door was opened from inside.

A man dressed in gray clothes came out. He didn't have beard, looking neat.

Finn could felt the man had practiced martial arts.

Finn stopped and looked at the man. The man looked back.

"How dare you run so fast!"

Finn paid no attention to the guards behind him. He walked up a step and suddenly punched the man.

It seemed that the man knew Finn would make a move. He parried Finn's fist easily.

Only in the blink of an eye, they had made dozens of moves. Apparently, the man was a master in martial art, at least reaching the Transformed Period or even at the peak of it.

But after several moves, Finn found the man's moves were insidious, not like a decent martial arts.

The man's life-for-life moves were deadly. It was hard to handle those moves.

In a few breaths, both of them forced each other to step back. Suddenly, a woman showed up at the door and asked the man to stop.

Finn looked at her and found her enchanting. She didn't dress much and held a sharp dagger.

Hearing the woman used the word "girls", Finn knew Yuer was taken away by them.

So, he said, "I don't care what you're doing. I just want my partner back."

The woman smiled and said, "Sure you will. We can't afford to mess up with a man at the peak of the Transformed Period. That will be a trouble for us."

Finn couldn't tell whether she was lying, so he only could trust her for now. He said, "She was taken away last night."

The woman was still smiling. She said, "OK. Please wait here. I will take a look for you. I will bring her here if she is here. But she probably has not arrived yet. You may have to wait till the night."

Finn didn't want to be stuck here, so he asked immediately, "Then where she is if she is not here?"

The woman hesitated for a while before answering, "Sorry that I don't know. It's the work of our servants. But you can rest assured. They don't dare to touch our things."

Hearing that the woman called Yuer as a thing, Finn got angry. But he had to suppress his anger.

Finn said, "I hope you're not lying."

The woman left after smiling at Finn.

Only Sheppard who stood at the corner was left. Soon, a servant served Finn a cup of hot tea. But Finn didn't drink, afraid that there was a trap. He didn't dare to be careless.

Sitting there for a long time, Finn found the woman didn't come back, so he wanted to go out. But Sheppard stopped him.

"You can't leave without her permission." Sheppard said firmly.

Finn didn't fear him and said, "What if I insist?"

The eyes of Sheppard indicated that he was desperate for fighting with Finn.
