“I’m… I’m so sorry, sir.”

“You shouldn’t be apologizing to me but to Mr. Kooper. Goodness, you’re so infuriating,” the director replied.

Then, he turned to Gilbert, “Do you want to go another take?”

“Let’s do it. I have faith in her abilities.”

Gilbert’s words were intended for Kisa.

‘I hate myself for being so useless. If he’s able to do such a good job at acting in front of me, why can’t I do the same? Since he’s able to be focused, why can’t I do the same?’ wondered Kisa.

She felt determined once more. Then, she lifted her gaze to meet Gilbert, “Let’s do it.”

Gilbert smiled. His smile, coupled with the costume, made him look out of this world.

Everyone around him shrieked in admiration; he looked so dazzlingly handsome it was as if he were a fallen angel.

The director again adjusted the camera, “Scene one, action!”

“Will you return?” the male lead gazed deeply at the female lead.

Even though it was just acting, Kisa spaced out momentarily under Gilbert’s intense gaze.

Regardless, Kisa quickly recomposed herself. She gripped the bag in her hands tightly and said, “I probably won’t be returning. Time flies, so… It’s better for you to not wait for me.”

In the script, the female said this line with teary eyes.

Kisa did a great job and instantly teared up.

The male lead went in front of the female lead and stroked her hair.

His husky yet gentle voice sounded determined, ” Then I’ll go find you.”

“You’ll find me?”

“Three years. Give me three years, and I’ll show up before you,” the male lead said.

Gilbert flashed her a small smile, “What did I tell you? Didn’t I say that you could do it?”

Kisa turned away indifferently.

‘Even if he’s genuinely helping me this time, I still won’t forgive all of the pain and humiliation he inflicted upon me,’ thought Kisa.

Meanwhile, the director was completely enamored with Gilbert. He praised Gilbert for being a gifted actor and wanted to make Gilbert the male lead of the drama.

‘But is that even possible? Gilbert’s the CEO of GK Pictures. Him running over to a production crew under J & K Film Group and acting in a kiss scene was already unbelievable. How could he possibly agree to be the drama’s male lead? What’s more, he’s a busy CEO. Where would he find the time to act in a drama?’
