Chapter 1376 Visiting the Restricted Zone

“Who among you wants to visit that restricted zone tomorrow? You can all come with me,” announced Mr. Mullen Sr.

As his words echoed through the silent dining room, everyone present stared at him, wide-eyed. The people who were having their meals all stopped. Some people were so shocked that they forgot to chew the food in their mouth. Only Mr. Mullen Sr. was still eating calmly.

Kisa broke the silence and said, “Can I join you tomorrow as an outsider?”

Kelvin was also curious about the restricted zone, but he lacked the courage to explore it himself. The last time he tried, the fearsome guards scared him off.

Mr. Mullen Sr. glanced at them with a faint smile. “Since I brought this up at the dinner and you all heard it, it’s only fair that you get to join as well.”

Kisa and Kelvin exchanged excited glances.

Mr. Mullen Sr. looked around the table and continued. “Since none of you seem interested, I will only invite Mrs. Kooper and Dr. Hoover tomorrow.”

Arthur shook his head. “I have a feeling that Grandpa only agreed to let us go inside because you’re here, so we have you to thank. After all, Grandpa has never mentioned going inside for a visit in the past six years.”
