"Enough! I'm sick of that attitude! Go back and tell them that Morgan has no right to get into Brighton University! No matter how desperately a worm dresses itself up, it can never be more than a worm!" Hayden said in a cold voice before he got up to leave.
He had nothing to say to the Sterlings.
"I swear, I had no idea that even happened. I'm here to talk about this book!" Julia took out the borrowing record.
When Hayden saw the book, he couldn't help raising his eyebrow. He had written in this book in the past.
In that period, he couldn't do anything but lament his misfortunes by writing them in the book, but he had already forgotten about it after his reincarnation.
He didn't expect it to show up again.
"I have nothing to say to you!" Hayden said in rejection.
"Is everything written here the truth?" Julia stepped in front of Hayden, looking at the latter with an extremely caring expression.
"Does the answer even matter?" Hayden smiled bitterly as he asked in a cold voice.
"I swear, I had no idea about all these things that had happened in the past. I want to apologize to you. We have indeed done many hurtful things to you." Julia humbled herself as she slowly lowered her head.
By the looks of it, she truly was apologizing in earnest, and Hayden couldn't help but be moved.
His heart trembled, and he felt a little uncomfortable. Did she only learn the truth now, so many years after the fact?
"And? What exactly are you trying to say?" Hayden continued questioning.
"I'm really sorry about all this. I know you won't forgive us just like that, but this is all I can say right now. I have to apologize to you!" Julia lowered her head earnestly.
Her long hair swayed slightly, and she looked very sincere about it, too.
She truly hoped that she could make it up to Hayden.
"Hah…" Hayden let out a chuckle as he shook his head. "You call that fooling around? Looks like you've failed to realize who's actually fooling around here! Morgan is your brother, but he's not related to me! You can never compensate for all the things I've lost!"
Hayden's attitude was resolute as he spoke in a loud voice, and his voice resounded in the whole residential area.
His indignance and fury were extremely contagious, and they seemed to resonate with anyone who heard his voice.
Hayden couldn't let go at all. The tragic scenes of the past kept welling up in his heart, yet this was the outcome after Julia had read everything he wrote?
How pathetic!
"That was the only way you could make it up to me, but you still refused!" Hayden said.
