Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 482

Hayden arrived at the stall with Christina by his side and a bag of snacks in his hand.

"It's Christina! I can't believe she's here too!"

"This is amazing! She's the brand ambassador. I love her videos!"

"With her here, the whole Twilight Flower Cake issue will definitely get sorted out!"

Excitement rippled through the crowd the moment they spotted Christina. Phones shot up as people scrambled to snap photos.

After all, she was practically a celebrity in Stonybrook.

Wade and Dean's eyes lit up, locking onto her like predators eyeing prey. Their stares were so intense that Christina instinctively shrank back, slipping behind Hayden for cover.

"It's been a while," Dean remarked with feigned curiosity. "I didn't expect to see you here, Mr. Hayden. Are you personally overseeing the product testing?"

"That's right," Hayden replied evenly. "After all, we have a responsibility to ensure the safety of our products."

"Hah! How responsible of you." Wade sneered. "But your product is nothing like the one shown in the promotional video. How do you explain that?"

"Go ahead," Hayden said, turning toward Nathan with a slight nod.

Nathan's expression was briefly blank, but he had no choice. He took a deep breath and began explaining.

As soon as the crowd heard that the cakes contained preservatives, their faces twisted in shock.

It was as if they had just been told they had eaten poison. Disgust and anger spread like wildfire.

"How could you do this?"

"The video showed pure, all-natural ingredients, so we wanted to try it! And now you're feeding us this?"

Chapter 482 2

"Exactly!" Dean shouted. "We came here for the authentic Twilight Cake. Why did you have to lie to us?"

The two of them weren't just stirring the pot. They had a clear goal to turn Christina's fans against her.

Chapter 482 3

"I…" Christina clenched her fists, her frustration burning inside her. But the words wouldn't come.

Because the truth was undeniable. They had used preservatives. But it was standard in food production and nothing unusual.

Yet, to these people, it had been twisted into an unforgivable crime.
