"Thank you, Hayden!" Jenny couldn't hold back any longer and threw herself into Hayden's arms.
A joyful smile spread across her face.
At that moment, she felt an overwhelming sense of safety and the deep familial bond Hayden offered her. She was truly happy.
"Let's go home," Hayden said gently. "If we get back soon enough, we'll reach home in time for dinner."
"Okay!" Jenny said eagerly.
Together, they left for home.
…
Before long, they arrived.
Inside, James and Serena were busy preparing dinner. Seeing both Jenny and Hayden return unharmed, they sighed with relief. They exchanged a quiet look but said nothing.
As for what had happened to Jenny, they chose to remain silent, not wanting to reprimand her in any way.
Hayden and Jenny didn't bring up the incident either, deliberately avoiding the topic. They both clearly understood that it was to protect Jenny's dignity.
Meanwhile, Hayden was already planning how to make Morgan pay for what he had done. He wasn't about to let Morgan get away with bullying Jenny.
…
That evening, Morgan's family was having dinner at home.
The main topic of conversation was the video of Jenny from earlier that day.
Both Morgan and Lily couldn't hide their excitement.
"Yes, this isn't right. Don't do something like that again," Charlotte added, her voice tinged with helplessness.
"Huh?" Morgan and Lily froze, staring at the two in disbelief.
Were they really being reprimanded?
"I also hope you'll compete with Hayden's company fairly, not with tactics like this," Anna said seriously, her gaze focused on Morgan.
"Okay, Anna…" Morgan said reluctantly, forced to agree for now.
He hadn't expected such disapproval from all three of them.
But this was just the beginning. He still had far more ruthless plans in mind.
