Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 409

"I can't believe I trusted Lily over Hayden!" Julia exclaimed. She bit her red lips, her face filled with helplessness and sorrow.

The guilt weighed heavily on her. When she thought about the harsh things she'd said to Hayden, her heart ached.

This situation was only making it harder for Hayden to forgive her.

"I never imagined things would turn out like this. I should've known. Lily being with Morgan is already a red flag. Not to mention, throughout all of this, Morgan never said a single bad thing about Hayden. That's strange, isn't it? Why didn't I notice it sooner?"

Charlotte sighed deeply, her face filled with regret. Her eyes showed nothing but helplessness.

She felt that she had been too careless too.

The most ridiculous part was how she had judged Hayden based on her past impressions of him.

When she had first heard about the situation, she had immediately assumed that Hayden was at fault. It never even occurred to her that maybe it was Lily who was in the wrong.

At that moment, Anna said softly, "We've arrived."

The two women in the back seat immediately turned to look outside. Their faces lit up with surprise.

"This… Are we investigating?" Julia asked.

They had arrived at the film studio where Lily and her group had taken the photos.

With her straightforward thinking, Anna believed that investigating firsthand was the best way to uncover the truth.

"Alright. Let's investigate. Maybe we'll actually find something. As long as we have evidence, we can clear Hayden's name!" Charlotte said, her tone firm and resolute.

"Maybe this is the evidence we need. They can't just say that the cameras broke and leave it at that. There's definitely something more to this. Perhaps Hayden was truly wronged, and the real evidence has already been destroyed," Anna said quietly, piecing the puzzle together.

"What?" Charlotte and Julia were even more stunned, their emotions in turmoil.

The more they thought about it, the more Anna's reasoning made sense.

"What should we do? If we go back and apologize to Hayden, do you think he'll forgive us?" Julia asked softly, her expression downcast.

"What's happened has already happened. Even if you fix a broken mirror, the cracks will remain. If you ask me, the best way to make things right is through action. We need to protect Hayden," Anna immediately said.

"Protect Hayden? How?" Julia asked.

"Morgan's company is probably planning something against Hayden." Anna's eyes were sharp, and her voice was filled with resolve.
