Jenny immediately yanked her hand away from Anna. Her emotions were all over the place, and her breathing became more erratic. Every inch of her screamed defiance.

She refused!

"Why?" Anna asked, surprised.

"Why not?" Jenny fired back. "I said no, and that's final!"

She added coldly, "You Sterlings bullied Hayden. He barely escaped your clutches and severed ties with you. Why would he go back? Stop dreaming. He will never go back!"

Her rejection was absolute, and she didn't even spare Anna any courtesy. To her, people like Anna were shameless! All of them were rotten to the core!

"This is really important, and I need to tell Hayden personally! Stop making a scene and tell me where he is right now!" Anna's voice grew anxious as she pressed on.

She felt uncomfortable with Jenny's refusal. She even thought Jenny was just wasting her time.

The tension between them grew, both staring each other down.

"I've already told you. Give up! Hayden will never go back. Scram! I won't let you off the hook if I find out you're looking for him again!" Jenny clenched her fists, threatening with firm resolve.

She looked a little comical, but the hatred in her eyes was real and undeniable.

"You!" Anna's breathing quickened, her emotions on the verge of breaking.

Could she not find Hayden? Was the Sterling family about to fall apart because of Jenny? Would Charlotte, Julia, and Lily all be driven out?

"Hayden!" Jenny's face lit up when she saw him, and she excitedly hugged his waist. She felt relieved, knowing no one could bully her anymore.

He gently pulled her behind him, protecting her.

"Listen to me. I didn't mean to strike her. I wanted to find you, but she wouldn't tell me where you were!" Anna quickly explained.

However, Hayden suddenly applied more force and pushed her.

As a fragile woman, she couldn't resist. She crashed to the ground, her mind blank, staring at him in a daze.

"I don't care why you came looking for me or what you need from me! But you hurt my family, and that I will never tolerate! Now get out of my sight immediately, or don't blame me for being rude!"

Hayden's face was cold and indifferent, but his eyes were filled with intense hostility, as if ready to explode.
