"Why you—" Hayden's eyes popped wide open, his expression one of disbelief.

What was going on? How was this any of his business?

He watched as Wagner's figure disappeared into the distance, staring speechlessly all the while.

When he turned, he noticed Joshua and the rest of his men were staring right at him.

"Sir, can you please help us and ask Dr. Kray to act?" Joshua begged sincerely.

Hayden frowned deeply, then turned to leave, his stance firm. Since he had cut all ties with the Sterlings, there was no reason for him to help them at all!

After having suffered so much under the hands of the Sterling family, they were asking him to save them instead? What a joke!

The hatred within Hayden boiled over, unwilling to accept this request. With that, he took his leave immediately without any hesitation to stop.

His determination in the matter left Joshua and his men discombobulated.

What should they do now?

Overwhelmed by fear and anxiety, they quickly turned and headed back to the hospital.

When Joshua informed the Sterlings about what happened at the park, it immediately sent them into shock.

"No! Hayden won't be so coldhearted! Let's go look for him now. As long as he puts in a good word, Dr. Kray will surely agree to save Lily! She's his biological sister! Hayden isn't so vicious! I believe in him!" Charlotte said, tears running down her face. She leaned over beside Lily, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Mom…" Lily said, whimpering all the while. Her eyes were bloodshot, with tears flowing freely.

At that moment, the entire room was filled with a sense of dread. Everyone was downcast, their expressions grim.

Just then, Morgan's eyes brightened as his gaze fell upon Lily. His frown deepened as he combed through his messy thoughts.

Now that Hayden had gained so much importance, there was no way Morgan would let him be. It seemed that he needed a new plan!

"Mom, Dad, everyone! For Lily's sake, I think I should leave the Sterling family. Perhaps this way, Hayden will be appeased!"
