Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 146

"Lily!" Julia and Anna panicked and immediately rushed over to hold Lily up.

"What's happening? Lily!" Charlotte was racked with worry as well, pacing around anxiously.

"Where are the doctors? Hurry up and treat her!" Francis ordered coldly with a vicious glint in his eyes.

Joshua and the doctors behind him dared not delay and quickly sprang into action.

Very soon, Lily was laid down on a hospital bed. An assortment of medical equipment was pushed into the room to run tests on her.

In a short time, Lily's body was stuck full of tubes.

The Sterlings anxiously gathered around Lily. Finally, after five minutes, they came up with a prognosis.

"Mr. Sterling, your daughter's fine. Our data shows that everything is normal. Apart from the slightly elevated blood pressure and mild heart arrhythmia, there's nothing out of the ordinary.

"She must've passed out because of her strong emotions. She just needs a little rest," Joshua explained, letting out a sigh of relief.

"That's good… How dare she just pass out like that after committing such a terrible mistake!"

Although Francis was relieved, he still gave Lily a furious glare. The anger in his gaze was clear.

After the Sterlings heard the prognosis, they could finally breathe easier with that worry out of the way.

"The important thing is that she's safe. I was really worried about Lily! Why don't I keep her company and share a bed with her? I can take care of her," Morgan suggested thoughtfully.

Meanwhile, his gaze was stuck fast on Lily's body.

"You're so thoughtful. Morgan is truly a model gentleman! Alright, you'll spend the night with Lily then. Take good care of her," Charlotte agreed with a nod.

Was she really that sick? Was she going to die?

Lily's face turned increasingly pale, her heart filled with anxiety. There was even a sense of regret welling up within.

If she listened to Wanger that day, this wouldn't have happened, right?

That old man was really able to tell that she was sick! Unfortunately, she couldn't turn back time.

That old man was the great Dr. Kray, after all, the genius doctor her father had been searching for. At this point, was it still possible for her to receive his treatment?

"What's going on here? Didn't you just say my daughter was fine?" Francis roared angrily in a panic.

"The… the equipment shows that she's fine!"
