"Why do you still want to see Hayden? If it weren't for that useless guy, do you think you'd be where you are now?" Lily scowled and lashed back.
"Just stay put," said Julia firmly. She seemed to have guessed what Morgan was scheming. He must be plotting something again.
"But I really miss Hayden. If he's here, at least I'll have someone to talk to," Morgan pleaded again.
The truth was, he couldn't wait for Hayden to arrive so that he could embarrass him.
"Fine. Julia, go and get that boy over," Francis ordered.
"But he probably won't come. Let's forget it!" Julia sighed.
"What do you mean he won't come? Give him ten thousand dollars, and we'll see if he'd refuse it! He's a foolish gold digger. I've got plenty of ways to get him here!" Francis said coldly.
"Fine." Julia sighed again and turned to leave.
"I'll go with you!" Anna quickly followed. She didn't want to waste any more time staying here.
The two of them then drove toward the Caldwell residence. However, when they arrived, Hayden was nowhere to be found.
It wasn't until midday that Serena returned briefly, and they happened to run into her.
"You again… Why are you here?" Serena froze for a moment, then looked at the two women carefully.
She had deep grudges toward the Sterlings. After all, they had mistreated Hayden so badly.
Serena only regretted not standing up for him. Now that these enemies were here, there was no way she'd greet them warmly.
"Let's go," Anna murmured, unwilling to argue further. She turned and left with Julia.
After their car drove away, Serena felt uneasy. She quickly took out her phone and called James.
"The Sterlings came again. It was Hayden's two sisters, and I think they're heading to find him now," Serena reported.
"Don't worry. No matter what they say, Hayden won't go back with them. I'll send someone to keep an eye on things and make sure he's safe." James wasn't concerned at all.
"Alright. I trust you." Serena felt relieved. She trusted James completely.
"By the way, stop by the house when you're free. I've invited Dr. Kray to help with Hayden's rheumatism. If no one's around, there won't be anyone to welcome him." James suddenly recalled and reminded her.
