Rebirth: We Split Ways.. novel Chapter 87

Penelope stopped in her tracks.

"Slap yourself and kneel down to apologize. You haven't done these two things, so why bother to ask me to return the ring?"

Kyla was furious, "How could I kneel down to a woman like you? Are you crazy?"

She couldn't stand Penelope's carefree and cold face the most and hated that she hadn't successfully killed her and caused a mess.

"It's fine if you don't kneel, but after the baby is born, you'll still go to jail. I have plenty of time to wait for you to suffer the consequences of your actions." Penelope let out a sharp chuckle.

"Even if I go to jail, I have given birth to a child of love with Dominic, and our relationship will never be severed." Kyla snorted coldly, “I am not like you, who didn’t conceive once in your three years of marriage!"

Penelope's eyes instantly turned cold for a moment because the words hit her nerve.

That was the most humiliating statement she heard in that marriage!

Thinking of Kyla causing her a car accident, using her pregnancy to avoid sanctions temporarily, and flaunting it in front of her, Penelope couldn't suppress her anger.

She walked up to Kyla, grabbed her by the collar, and leaned her back like a chicken.

"Can you say that again?"

Kyla was small; her heels slipped, and she was dangling in the air. If Penelope were to let go, she would immediately fall to the ground.

She was just a few months gone, and falling like that would definitely cause a lot of damage. She became instantly terrified, "I'm pregnant, don't let me fall. "

"Aren't you very smug?" Penelope sneered, "Are you scared now?"

Kyla nodded helplessly, her body trembling uncontrollably.

Looking around, she realized that it was late at night, and there was no kind person to help her.

"Kneel down and apologize to me. Don’t you want to do it?"

"I will do it! I will do it!"

Penelope did not really want anything. She just wanted to shut Kyla's mouth. She wanted to be sure that she would not try to hurt her anymore.

She fiercely pulled Kyla forward, then let go of her hand.

Kyla's face was covered with tears of fear as she sat on the ground with weak legs, still in shock.

Then she saw Dominic walking over.

"Dominic, this woman pushed me and the baby!"

The scene was inexplicably similar to the one at the photography exhibition in Lynnwood. Dominic's face was cold, and he found Kyla's crying upsetting.

After approaching them, he didn’t even help Kyla, completely disbelieving her words.

He frowned and looked at Penelope, his tone concerned, "Why did you come to the hospital? Is it the injury from the car accident? Haven't you healed yet?"

"Don't worry about it, Penny is doing well!" Jack had seen enough drama, so he put his arm around Penelope's shoulder and walked towards the door.

Jack had been resting at home under the watchful eye of the butler, and whenever he wanted to leave, Penelope was informed. Now, he could only find a way to deal with Penelope, who gave the order.

"No, you still need to rest for a few days."

"We're just going to choose a style, no heavy lifting. Let's go, please."

Penelope laughed helplessly. This brother of hers could not rest entirely for a day.

"OMG, it's finally time to go out!"

The two went to a Forever Gems store.

This time, no one dared to disrespect Penelope. The store clerk who suspected Penelope of stealing the necklace had already been fired. In addition, during the jewelry exhibition, Carla introduced Penelope as a designer. Now, the store clerks noticed that Penelope had brought their favorite star.

And... Simon actually came with her!

A Superstar!

The love between the two must be true!

Everyone wanted to convey the scene of the beautiful woman and the handsome man in front of them to the outside world, but they were working now, so they could only hold back.

Penelope helped Jack choose a few sets and also gave some matching suggestions when she suddenly heard someone speak at the door.

"When we get married, we will choose Forever Gems jewelry as our wedding ring. How about that?"
