The anger made Dominic stand up and follow them out of the restaurant.
Warren walked behind Dominic and said, "Was I not right? A man and a woman are having dinner at such a luxurious restaurant. If the rest of the event isn't at the hotel, where else would they go?"
He patted Dominic on the shoulder and said, "Friend, this woman is so frivolous, so don't worry about her."
Dominic slapped Warren's hand away and walked towards the hotel uncontrollably.
It had only been a short time since their divorce, and not only had she hooked up with Mr. Reed, but she even refused to let off the subordinates.
‘Penelope, have you changed, or have you always been such a slutty woman?’
The elevator door opened, and Carlos went in first. Just as Penelope was about to step in, her wrist was grabbed by a strong hand, and a cold and deep voice came through, "Let's talk."
Penelope looked up and saw the person clearly. She spoke softly but firmly, her tone expressing her detachment and indifference, "Mr. Archer, you must have plenty of free time. However, I have something to do, and I'm not free."
Just as Penelope and Carlos were about to enter the elevator to go upstairs to the booked room, Dominic appeared behind them. Penelope was in a daze for a moment but quickly regained her senses.
It must be just a coincidence.
It's unlikely that Dominic would follow her.
"Bosses, talk first." Carlos's expression changed, and he returned to his respectful and endearing appearance. He turned around and said to Penelope, "I'll wait for Miss Reed upstairs."
Penelope's eyes narrowed as she watched the elevator take Carlos up slowly.
‘You want to take advantage of me; let's see if you would be lucky today.’
The grip on her wrist was getting tighter and tighter, and it began to hurt. Penelope forcefully broke free, "If you have anything to say, just say it!"
"Why do you want to share a room with such a piece of garbage?"
Dominic's face was extremely gloomy, and his tone was questioning.
Carlos's reputation for being crooked had long been known in Seattle. It was either he slept with someone, or someone slept with him. it was unknown if he was sick or not.
Penelope folded her hands as if nothing had happened, "What does it have to do with you?"
During the three years she worked at Archer Corporation, she negotiated countless business deals, big and small. Unexpectedly, Dominic, as the boss, didn’t appreciate her at all and looked at her just like the outside world.
Dominic knew that he had slipped up for a moment. He pressed his tongue against his sore gum and endured the slap.
Penelope scolded herself again in her heart for being blind. After closing her eyes for a few seconds, when she looked up again, she was the glorious and confident woman she used to be again.
Whatever! It doesn't matter how Dominic sees the situation.
Penelope's voice carried a chill as she said nonchalantly, "Carlos has his reasons why I want to sleep with him, so you don't need to worry about it, Mr. Archer."
She walked into the elevator door that was already wide open. She didn’t bother to look outside; she pressed the close button and trampled on Dominic's ego.
When she arrived at the room that Carlos had reserved, Penelope gently knocked on the door.
The person inside immediately opened the door, and Carlos smiled lewdly, inviting Penelope in.
"Miss Reed, please come inside."
