"Professor James, it's not like that. Listen to my explanation! I did such a thing because of my obsession. Please forgive me! I promise that I will never do such a thing again."
Danna begged with a crying face.
Professor James, however, was not the least bit moved. "Ms. Archer, I'm not going to let you take the graduate school exam. Maybe your professional grades can pass the line, but behaviorally and morally, you flunked."
Danna was done for.
The industry was so big. Being rejected by Professor James in person, it would be almost impossible for her if she would want to design again in the future.
Melissa was also dumbfounded.
She rushed up and agitatedly said, "Professor James, Danna was just confused. Please give her another chance! She will definitely work very, very hard."
On the side, Mr. Keller said, "If there is academic misconduct, no matter how excellent your grades are, it will be in vain. You should change your career."
"No! Professor James, people are not saints who can't make mistakes. Danna is still young. You can't ruin her life because of this!" Melissa begged.
The surrounding people saw this and could not help but point their fingers.
Professor James did not say anything else but looked towards Penelope. He walked straight in front of her. "Ms. Reed, I have long heard that you founded a boutique. Your designs are unique and loved by the young girls in Seattle! Now that I've taken a look at it, it really lives up to its name. Your designs are very interesting. I hope we can work together sometime."
Penelope modestly said, "Professor James, thank you for your praise, I will continue to work hard."
He appreciated this calm and frankness in Penelope’s face, and with a slight nod, he left with Mr. Keller at his side.
"Professor James..."
Melissa still wanted to say something, but he completely ignored her.
She angrily stomped her feet, but there was nothing she could do.
The surrounding crowd also dispersed with Professor James's departure, but the news about what happened today at the design exhibition also seemed to have wings and had instantly spread in Seattle’s design community.
Melissa was very unwilling to believe it!
She wanted to cry but no tear was coming out.
Dominic chortled coldly.
"It is your own fault, and you should live with it."
"What are you saying?! That's your sister!"
Melissa was unconvinced. "You are her brother. How can you talk like that?!"
Dominic's expression turned ugly. "Danna, from today onwards, withdraw from Seattle University. Go to work in the company, and in the future, you are no longer allowed to enter the design industry."
Danna heard this and she burst into tears.
"Brother! Don't! I don't want to quit school."
Dominic, however, was not softhearted. "This matter is not negotiable. If you don't go to work at the company, I'll cancel all your credit cards and will no longer give you a penny."
