Melissa said, not forgetting to push Danna forward.
Danna also took the opportunity to hastily say, "I plan to enroll in your graduate school in my senior year, and hope that I will have the opportunity to follow you to study design."
Professor James understood and encouraged, "Good luck."
After saying that…
He left surrounded by the crowd.
When Melissa heard what the professor said, she was so excited that she pulled Danna and mumbled.
"Danna, it's decided! It's absolutely decided! You must work hard and don't let Mom down!"
Danna had a joyful face.
"Don't worry, mom! Your daughter is capable, okay?”
She must have no problem getting into Professor James's graduate school.
However, the next second, Penelope obscured her sight and walked towards her.
For some reason, Danna subconsciously kind of wanted to escape.
"Let's talk!"
These were two simple words, but there was a touch of pressure hidden in them.
Danna did not want to pay attention to Penelope.
She quickly turned around to leave, but before she could take a step, her wrist was grabbed by Penelope. "What? Are you a coward?"
Melissa on the side saw Penelope grabbing Danna and rushed over.
"Penelope, what are you doing? Let go of Danna!"
She did not pay any attention to her but looked at Danna. "I'll give you a chance for us to talk alone."
The surrounding people saw this and all cast curious gazes.
She then said, "What's wrong with being a thief? Can you prove that the design is yours?
You’ll take out the original draft, huh? There is no proof of what you are yelling about here!
Do you really think that your family's money is a big deal?
I'm telling you, yes. I redrew it exactly like your original design, but so what? Even if you say it now, will anyone believe it?"
Penelope did not expect Danna to not recognize her mistake in the slightest, and even did not forget to argue back!
"I've seen some thick-skinned people, but I've never seen one as thick-skinned as you. It's true that I could not get the original copy, but what's stolen is still stolen."
"Where's the evidence?" Danna ringed his chest, an expression of ‘what can you do to me.’
"Without evidence, everything is for nothing. Who could believe just words? Just don't blame me for not reminding you. Slander is against the law, and when the time comes, I can sue you."
Penelope was exasperated and laughed.
At first, she thought that Danna was only a sophomore now, and she did not want to ruin her future by making a scene, so she took her to talk alone.
