It was not until the two of them walked along the corridor to the end that Ryan stopped. "Go inside! The answer is there." After saying that, he gently pushed open the door and walked in.
"Grandpa Fred, I brought Penelope here!"
Penelope froze and followed his line of sight, and saw that Fred Reed was sitting on a chair.
"Grandpa!" Penelope had a look of surprise on her face! Without hesitation, she jogged over and jumped into Fred's arms.
"Grandpa, why did you come to Seattle without telling me?"
"I asked him to hide it from you, wanting to give you a surprise." Aunt Linda's voice rang out at the right time, and Penelope was filled with surprise. "Godmother, you're here too."
Aunt Linda walked to her and reached out.
"Can I not come? We all know about your grandiose speech at the board meeting!"
Penelope was embarrassed!
"It's no longer a secret that you made a bet with Director Howard. What do you plan to do next?"
Penelope spat out her tongue and said, "Work hard and try to fulfill the target."
"Not bad! You’re not giving up on yourself. It seems like you are quite confident. That's good! You’re a bit like me when I was young!"
Fred nonchalantly praised her!
"Now that Ryan is also in Seattle, the two of you can also take care of each other, and if there is anything at work, just look for Ryan to discuss it," Aunt Linda followed up.
Penelope looked towards Ryan with a curious expression. "So? Ryan is putting down his identity as Moore Group's young proprietor and came to Seattle to run MR Group?"
Aunt Linda nodded. "MR Group is a joint venture between the two of us, and it's currently temporarily handed over to Ryan to manage."
No wonder.
Penelope had felt that the name MR Group was strange before. It turned out to be an abbreviation of M (Moore) and R (Reed)!
"Well, after all, we’ve already started! I can’t lose this bet! Otherwise, I won't be able to keep my position."
"Don't worry. With me around, no one will be able to shake your position."
"Haha. Thanks a lot then, Ryan!"
The two of them being so intimate was giving envy to the eyes of the crowd, and there was a gaze that always followed them, not moving away for a moment.
Thinking that he had just chased them up the stairs, only to be stopped outside, Dominic's face became extraordinarily unpleasant.
His eyes were always holding back the anger underneath them, and he kept sipping the wine in his glass without stopping.
The wine was obviously flavorful, but at the moment, it felt extraordinarily bitter in his mouth.
After drinking an unknown number of glasses, Dominic took a step towards Penelope.
