Raven was convinced that Yolanda was just trying to stall for time. She came up with all sorts of threats she could think of and tried to place the blame on the clinic if anything happened.
Her followers from the Dragon Brigade chimed in, "Hand over the Ice Lily!"
"Move it!"
"Hurry up unless you want a beating!"
. . .
"You want the Ice Lily?" Yolanda smirked. "We do have it. But why should we give it to you?"
"The Ice Lily can cure my father! Isn't this clinic supposed to help people? You should give it to me!" Raven remained brazenly entitled.
"You're shameless! Yes, we help people, but we're not a charity. Ice Lily isn't just another herb–it's worth millions. Why should we give it to you?" Dunston felt more confident with Yolanda here.
"If you'd come asking nicely, Ms. Henderson might have considered it out of kindness. But you're here acting like thugs! Forget about getting the Ice Lily!"
"You just want money from us, don't you? Of course, we pay for medicine, but don't think you can fool me with the price!" Pursing her lips, Raven sneered.
"Even though my father needs it, we're not stupid enough to pay millions. The Ice Lily should be rightfully ours if it can cure him, so there's nothing wrong with us just taking it from you!"
"How dare you hit him?" Yolanda stepped forward and shielded Dunston.
"So what if I did? What are you going to do about it?" Raven dismissed Yolanda. She saw her as nothing but a weakling. "You'll get the same treatment if you don't hurry and hand me the Ice Lily!"
Being a woman herself, Raven had no qualms about hitting other women.
"You want the Ice Lily?" An intense chill emanated from Yolanda. No one had ever been able to take anything from her by force. "Let's see if you have what it takes to get it!"
"You little brat! You think I won't hit you?" Enraged, Raven raised her hand again as she swung at Yolanda's face.
