"Yes! Yolanda is no longer part of the Henderson family. Whatever crime she had committed has nothing to do with the Hendersons.
"If you want to arrest her, just call her directly," Yvonne added. She was all for distancing herself from Yolanda.
"We couldn't get to her on the phone. That's why we're here." Tyler frowned slightly and added, "It's nothing serious.
"Ms. Henderson has helped catch robbers who were wanted for a very long time by the police. There are some questions regarding the details of this incident that we would like to clarify with her about—"
"She helped the police arrest wanted criminals?" Diana was shocked.
"Yes! You didn't know?" Tyler was surprised.
"Ms. Henderson is very skilled. She fought with five robbers and won. These people initially wanted to rob her of the antique she had with her and were watching her all the way from when she was in Creekhaven.
"Fortunately, Ms. Henderson was clever enough to lead them to a secluded place. If they were to throw hands in the city, many innocent bystanders might be involved."
When Tyler was done, the living room fell into a pin-drop silence once more.
They would never have expected that what Yolanda said was true. She had really helped get the malicious robbers detained.
"How did Yolanda, the piece of trash, do that?" Alice muttered unhappily. "How is she so fucking lucky? Wanted criminals… That would mean a bounty is in tow, right?"
She only cared for everything money-related. She had automatically filtered out all the other information presented to her.
However, Harold's and Diana's expressions were very complicated.
"What Yolanda said before this was true? She didn't just leave us deliberately?" Harold muttered.
She was very happy that Yolanda had signed the agreement previously. If the police were to come and reveal what she said to be true, she knew Harold well enough to know that he would regret his decision and make Yolanda stay.
Yvonne had schemed and planned all the way for Yolanda to finally be disowned and thrown out of the Henderson family. Now she had succeeded, and all her efforts through the years had not been in vain.
"Harold, she's still trying to trick you with that shabby box. You should already know that she's a greedy, selfish person." Joe took the opportunity to jab at Harold.
"She dared claim that it was more expensive than the martyr's relic! Hah!" Then, he went to the reliquary that Harold had thrown on the ground and kicked it hard, like he was trying to vent his anger.
"Only amateurs would want that shabby old thing!"
Harold was initially doubtful, but after listening to Joe, the flame of rage rose once more. Yolanda was trying to trick him with a worthless artifact and everyone had seen it.
