Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 832

Sarah was drifting in and out of consciousness, but she could still make out his words. “What… did you say?”

“You don’t believe me?” Leon’s smile turned sly. “They’re at Springbar right now. Who knows what they’re talking about? Aren’t you curious?”

Sarah lunged for her phone, but he held it high above her head.

“Have you made up your mind, Miss Sanders?”

She gritted her teeth and pinched her thigh again, hard. “Give it back! You’re not getting your way!”

Leon’s expression darkened, his voice low and dangerous. “So you’d rather fight me than cooperate?”

His patience had run out. With a flick of his wrist, he hurled her phone across the room, then grabbed her arm and dragged her toward the sofa in the back.

“What are you doing?! Let go of me! Leon Spencer!” Sarah screamed.

“Let go? You’ve got to be kidding me. Do you know how much effort it took to get you here? That drug wasn’t easy to get either.”

He shoved her down onto the sofa. “Stop struggling already. Whatever Zachary can give you—I can give you more. Why are you still clinging to him? You know Vivian’s obsessed with him. She’s never going to let him go.”

His words hit a nerve. For a moment, Sarah’s resistance wavered.

But just a second later, she pushed him away with all her strength. “Shut up! I don’t want to hear your bullshit anymore. Even if I didn’t choose Zachary, I’d never choose you.”

Her words flipped a switch in Leon. His face twisted as he grabbed her wrist and pinned her arms down. “Bullshit? You call that bullshit? Since you won’t listen to reason, I won’t waste any more time talking. Once it’s done, we’ll see how proud you still are.”

“Let go of me!” Sarah shouted. “Aren’t you afraid I’ll report you? You’ll be branded a rapist for life!”

Her strength was fading fast. The drug was taking full control of her.

Lysander’s eyes turned ice-cold. “Then go ahead and report me—AFTER.”

He leaned in, pressing her down.

BANG!

Zachary’s voice was cold and deadly. “Leon Spencer, you crossed the line. Again. Why do you keep testing me?”

Leon let out a maniacal laugh. “You act like she belongs to you! She doesn’t! And yet, somehow, you always show up to ruin it all!”

Zachary turned back to Sarah, gently shaking her shoulders. “Sasa, stay with me. Wake up.”

But she was burning up.

Zachary’s eyes narrowed sharply. “What did you give her?”

Leon sneered. “Just something for adults. A little something to help her relax.”

Zachary’s expression turned lethal. He clenched Sarah’s trembling hands tightly, his voice like a blade.

“Run. Run while you still can. Because if I catch you, I’ll ruin you.”
