Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 823

Mr. Wilson was watering plants in the front courtyard. Seeing Leon didn't surprise him at all—he remained perfectly calm. "You're here."

Leon nodded and performed a proper bow as a junior should. “Mr. Wilson, sorry to disturb you."

Mr. Wilson held his watering can in one hand and waved dismissively with the other. "Vivian's in the back garden. Go find her directly."

Leon's lips curved in a smile, showing no trace of embarrassment. After acknowledging the instruction, he strode confidently forward.

Vivian had been keeping a low profile lately—partly because she had plans to execute, and partly because Wilson Corporation was in a delicate position that required her to watch every word and action.

Seeing Leon walk into the estate like he owned the place, her expression immediately turned cold. "What are you doing here?"

Leon raised an eyebrow and approached her in a few steps, suggestively catching a strand of her fragrant hair and bringing it to his nose. "What's wrong? Not happy to see me?"

Vivian yanked her hair from his grasp with cutting sarcasm. "I heard you've been making quite the spectacle at Adams University lately. Aren't you worried about blowing our cover by coming here now?"

Leon leaned closer, eyes narrowing with amusement. "Don't talk like that—I might think you're jealous."

Vivian's face flushed red with anger, but before she could get a word out, Leon was already spinning his explanation.

"I keep our agreement close to my heart at all times—haven't forgotten it for a second, whether eating or sleeping."

Vivian shot back sarcastically, "How dedicated of you."

Leon's tone shifted, half threatening, half coaxing. "But I'm running out of patience. If there's no progress soon, I might just give up. When that happens, will you still be able to sit back and do nothing?"

Vivian refused to be baited by his reverse psychology and headed toward the house. "Could you show a little spine?”

Leon followed with a laugh. "I just don't want to overthink things. Besides, when there's someone smarter around, why not use them?"

Vivian collected herself and replied calmly, "I can't tell you now. You just need to know that I've arranged everything. When the time comes, I'll tell you exactly what to say."

Leon seemed to test the waters, half-joking, "You're not planning to sell me out, are you?"

Vivian glared at him. "Relax. We're grasshoppers tied to the same rope now—I'll only help you get what you want."

Leon made two "tsk" sounds, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "This is a new experience for me. I have to say, it's got me quite excited. Vivian, I'll wait for your good news then—but don't disappoint me!"

Vivian's red lips curved slightly upward. "Naturally."

City Hospital Pathology Department.

Sarah and Melvin walked into an office together. The doctor inside looked puzzled. "You're in the wrong place—this isn't where patients are seen."
