Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 804

Under all the attention, Sarah smiled slowly. "Mr. Spencer, rankings are never determined by us merchants, but by customer reviews. Rather than making empty claims, it's better to focus on doing good business."

With just a few words, she lightly deflected Leon's challenge, but he didn't seem angry.

Vivian took the microphone. "Miss Sanders, please don't take offense. Mr. Spencer was just thinking that Mr. Reynolds would help you—he wasn't targeting you specifically."

She directly shifted the topic to Zachary, and everyone had long been curious about the situation between the three of them.

Seeing Sarah being targeted, James almost stood up to speak for her, but Charlotte held him down firmly.

"James, what are you doing? Get a grip and see what kind of occasion this is! Don't act rashly! You're already divorced from Sarah, and even if you want to stand up for her, she might not appreciate it!"

James's expression gradually calmed down as Charlotte's words brought him back to reality.

He felt he'd been living in confusion lately, always looking to his side during midnight dreams, thinking Sarah was still lying next to him.

But when he came to his senses, he found only emptiness. Sometimes seeing Charlotte lying next to him would make his heart skip a beat in fear.

"Vivian is clearly targeting Sarah," James said gravely.

"No matter who she's targeting, it has nothing to do with us. One Wilson family is already more than we can handle, and now there's a Spencer family too. Even if you want to be impulsive, think about Chancer Corporation, think about me and our baby, think about your mother and sister!" Charlotte said disappointedly.

She knew that only calm persuasion would work with James now, otherwise he would just charge headfirst into a wall.

This Miss Sanders certainly kept things well hidden.

Leon's interest intensified even further. This woman was actually the largest shareholder of Sanders Corporation—how exciting.

"Miss Wilson, everyone knows Sanders Corporation has always been managed by my cousin. Although I have shares, I never interfere. Sanders has become my cousin's company, and I've never been the chairman. I haven't managed the company these past few years and won't interfere in the future," Sarah said decisively.

She had long known that someone would eventually bring this up.

"Then I suppose I was meddling," Vivian said apologetically.
