Rebirth In Divorce My New Mr. Perfect (by Summer Knowles) novel Chapter 773

She broke into a smile, rarely relaxing like this. "Sasa, I didn't want to trouble you."

Zachary looked at Mia with concern. He knew his sister's condition was serious, and after the recent incident, it had probably gotten worse.

"Mr. Reynolds, the doctor said you only have minor injuries. You've been in the hospital for two days already—shouldn't you be discharged by now?" she teased.

She understood what Zachary was up to—nothing more than wanting her to visit him more often.

Zachary hadn't made it obvious, but she couldn't help calling him out on it.

Either way, she wanted Zachary to understand that they could never go back to how things were before.

"Is Ms. Sanders always this cold and heartless toward her patients?" Zachary joked.

Sarah looked him up and down for several minutes before saying, "I don't see anything about you that resembles a patient, Mr. Reynolds."

Zachary said seriously, "It seems Sasa has forgotten that I'm still your patient."

"Have you had nightmares these past two days in the hospital?"

Zachary thought for a moment. "I had one last night."

Sarah hadn't forgotten her responsibilities. Zachary was her psychological patient, and she would treat him properly.

She glanced at Mia and pointed to the small sofa by the window. "Mia, sit over there and wait for your brother."

Mia obediently went to sit down. "Okay."

Sarah helped raise the head of Zachary's bed so he could sit up slightly. "Mr. Reynolds, if you don't mind, I'm going to hypnotize you now."

His response was to gradually relax his body. He opened his eyes and looked at the pocket watch Sarah took out, following its movement with practiced ease.

Sarah's expression grew serious. During hypnosis, it was rare for someone's subjective will to go against the hypnotist's suggestions.

She intensified her tone and continued, "No, you saw it wrong. She wasn't hit. The woman even smiled at you. What did she say to you? Can you hear it clearly?"

The protesting "no" grew weaker and weaker until it disappeared completely.

"She said she doesn't regret it."

Sarah opened her mouth but didn't know what to say. Finally, Zachary fell into a deep sleep.

While Zachary was sleeping, a nurse came to change his medication and said he could be discharged today.

Mia yawned. “Sasa, Zachary can be discharged now."

Sarah ruffled her hair and asked, "Does Mia want to accompany him when he's discharged?"
