Jasper paused for a while before saying, "Alright, then. We won't hold you up any longer. Call us if you need help with anything, anytime."

Scott's gaze darkened a little. "Jasper."

Jasper was just about to hang up when he heard Scott calling him. He paused for a while before putting the phone next to his ear once more. "Yes, Scott?"

"How did you get with Clara?"

"What?" The question baffled Jasper. He could hear that something was on Scott's mind, but he never expected this question. He did not know how to react.

Clara did not know what Scott said but was itching to know what it was about when she saw Jasper's reaction. She grabbed Jasper's arm and went in closer to Jasper's ear, trying to hear what Scott was saying.

Jasper came to his senses when he saw his wife trying to eavesdrop on the call.

He looked at Clara, seeing how curious and nervous she looked. He could not help but smile. "We… I don't know where to begin."

Clara could barely hear anything from Scott's side. She was even more confused to see Jasper looking at her adoringly.

Jasper, noticing Clara's reaction, looked away and put the phone on the other side of his ear. Then, he stood up and headed upstairs, stopping Clara from eavesdropping.
