Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 885

Emily heard every single word he said in a deep voice.

Emily muttered, "It won't happen again...."

"How come?" Simon's breathing became quick and uneven again, and he hugged her even tighter. "Emily, Director Ye said that we're still young and that we could have another child! When you fully recover in a year or a half year, we can have another baby at any time we want! See? They are the clothes that we made for our baby stitch by stitch. We can give them to our baby in the future..."

All of a sudden, Emily grabbed the pile of soft knitwear.

Simon was delighted, thinking that he must have persuaded her. But unexpectedly, Emily raised her hand, took all the clothes, and broke away from him with all his strength. Then, she walked quickly to the window.

While Simon was still in a daze, he saw her pushing the window open.

A cool breeze blew in. She raised her hand high, throwing all the clothes in soft colors out.

His Adam's apple bobbed in his throat.

It was too late for him to stop her. He froze there, his legs leaden.

The cool wind seemed to blow his heart cold.

Before they divorced, she lied that she would leave him to look for Boyd, her ex-boyfriend. At that time, she did all of this only to keep the news that she was pregnant a secret from him. However, the situation was different now. This time, he had a feeling that she had made up her mind to leave.

As the last piece of sock fell to an invisible corner, Emily withdrew her hand and closed the window.

When she just found them, the scene of her making them arose in her mind. She always had her head buried in the wool balls during that period, her hands holding two knitting needles. Though her movements were clumsy, she kept knitting earnestly with a smile. What was more, she was looking forward to putting them on her baby after it was born...

At this moment, she felt like crying, her heart as cold as the river water in the winter.

Without looking at his expression, Emily pulled up the suitcase and left the house.

The taxi downstairs was still waiting for her there. She opened the door and got in. When she went out of the community, Mr. Weil had returned to the guard room and warmly greeted her through the window glass.

Emily nodded lightly, and the taxi sped away.

Late at night, she received a text message from Simon. "I'll call your chief editor in your TV station to let you go. I won't stop you anymore."

After reading it, Emily turned over, put the phone back on the bedside table, and continued to sleep with her eyes tightly closed.

In the courtyard of the Chin Family, Simon put down his phone and leaned back against the bench. Looking at the twinkling stars in the sky, he raised his hand, putting the beer can in his hand to his lips. Then he threw his head back, gulped down the beer, and threw it away. The can roll far away on the ground.

As he opened another can, someone kicked his foot.

A pair of black military boots appeared in her sight. Without looking up, he knew it was Adam, his eldest brother.

Adam leaned over and sat beside him. As a soldier, he sat down in an open way without crossing his legs. "That's enough. If dad wakes up and sees you drinking wine here, he'll teach you a lesson!"

"I'll drink two more cans!" Simon raised his head and took another mouthful.

Then, he picked up a can next to him and handed it to Adam.

While Emily was waiting in line for the boarding pass, Wendy and Mr. Hogg hurried over.

Tina had a live program to deal with while Anthea had an operation to perform. But last night, the three of them had a meal together to say goodbye. Just when Emily arrived at the airport, they sent her a text message to wish her a pleasant trip.

In her inbox, there was also one message from Simon.

Since then, they had not met each other. Though he brought her nutrition products and soups every day as before, Emily rarely saw his Cayenne downstairs. Anthea told her that he seemed to have been very busy in the hospital recently...

Anyway, Emily thought that was okay.

She quickly got the boarding pass and checked her luggage.

It was sad to say goodbye, and she felt a little reluctant to leave. Wendy held her hands and kept telling her to take care of herself. However, time was cracking on, and the announcer of the airport reminded the passengers to do the security check as soon as possible.

With people coming and going, the hall was bubbling a cacophony of voices.

Emily's eyes involuntarily swept over those people. She paid special attention to the rolling elevator. However, the familiar figure she expected did not appear.

"Wendy, I have to line up for the security check!"

Upon hearing the airport announcement, Wendy frowned and said in a hurry, "Emily, why don't you wait a little longer?"

"No need." Emily shrugged and tried to continue with a relaxed tone, "If I don't go in now, the security checkpoint will be closed soon. It cost me thousands of yuan to buy this ticket. Although the station will pay for it, my chief editor will accuse me if I miss the flight!"
