Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 790

Emily felt agitated every second as if she was sitting on pins and needles.

She thought Simon was having a date with Addy. But Simon brought her along. At that moment, she admired Addy for she could still maintain a good demeanor in such a situation.

Addy shook her head at him and said softly, "It's okay. I've just arrived. My troupe happened to have a show near here, so it's faster for me to arrive. I ordered two glasses of American coffee. What would you like to drink? The cappuccino in this restaurant is quite good, which is suitable for ladies. You can have a try!"

Simon frowned, knocked on the table, and said, "Plain water or juice!"

The waiter brought two cups of juice and handed over the menu to each of them. After taking over the menu, Addy did not open it. Instead, she looked at the two of them and said apologetically, "I'm sorry. Maybe we have to wait a little longer. Someone is coming!"

To be precise, Addy was looking at Emily while she said that.

Hearing this, Emily was a little surprised because she didn't expect that there was another person coming tonight.

Emily subconsciously looked at Addy. When she sat down and saw two glasses of American coffee before Addy and Simon, she thought Addy ordered them for Simon and herself. It turned out it was for someone else...

Turning around, Emily looked at Simon with an inquiring look.

Simon just glanced at her from the corner of his eye and continued to flip through the menu in his hand lazily. From time to time, he would raise his head to ask about the recommendations of the chefs.

When Emily was wondering what the two of them were up to, Addy suddenly looked in a direction and stood up from her seat.

"Great. He's here!"

After saying that with a smile, Addy raised her hand and waved in the direction of the entrance.

Soon, a man in a suit and tie appeared. He was about the same age as Simon, handsome and with elegant temperament. It could be seen from his manners that he had been abroad all the year-round. When he just came over and called Addy, he had a strong accent.

Emily's attention was attracted by the man who suddenly appeared because he not only seemed to be familiar but also intimate with Addy...

Emily could not help but feel confused.

Simon whispered to her ear, "He is Addy's fiance."

"What did you say?!" Emily felt shocked.

She turned her head and looked at Simon incredulously, doubting what she was told as Simon was raising his eyebrows high and looking calm. Addy had already sat down and started introducing the man next to her with a smile, "Emily, let me introduce my fiance to you, this is Sean Jules!"

"Hello, Emily!" Sean stretched out his hand to her across the table.

Emily stretched out her hand in a daze and said, "Hello, Sean!"

Emily was still in confusion with a dull face, holding Sean's hand for a long while.

It was not until Simon pulled her hand back with a dark face that Emily came to her senses while Sean had an embarrassed but polite smile on his face.

Swallowing her saliva, she said, "You..."

Her guts told her that Addy asked her to go to the bathroom because she had something to say to her.

As expected, when she was wiping her hands, Addy said, "Emily, there is something that I have been unable to forget for a long time in my heart. Today I finally have a chance to talk to you face to face! I'm sorry!"

"You..." Emily was astonished.

She already knew that Addy had something to tell her, but she didn't expect that she would apologize to her right away. She frowned in confusion and asked, "Addy, why did you say sorry to me?"

"Because..." Addy looked a little embarrassed as if it was hard for her to speak, "The divorce agreement in the backpack was put by me!"

Emily stopped wiping her hands and asked, "It was you?"

"Yes!" Addy nodded to admit.

Emily looked at her in shock as she was trying to calm down.

Many memories connected and gradually became clear. She recalled that day when she accompanied Tina and Isla to the hospital. After she met Simon, who came back from a business trip earlier in the hospital, Addy sent her home. Later, it was also Addy who took the suitcase out of the trunk for her!

No wonder Simon asked her like that last night. It turned out that...

"I'm sorry. I feel sorry for what I have done!" Addy said with a sincere and apologetic tone, "Although your marriage with Simon was on an agreement, I can see that Simon didn't want to divorce you! There is one more thing. I don't know if you have misunderstood me, but I am not afraid of being laughed at by you if I tell you. I once committed suicide!"
