Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 691

Simon handed her a spoon. "After breakfast, let's go back to Ice city!"

"Okay!" Emily nodded.

In the morning light, she didn't realize that she acted like a submissive wife.

Halfway through, Simon got up, went to the window, and answered the phone. Emily swallowed the food in her mouth and pulled her cousin, who was drinking milk, and said, "Selena, what time did you guys leave? Why didn't you wake me?"

Selena rolled her eyes and said, "How? You really slept like the dead!"

Emily's lips twitched.

She was too exhausted last night, otherwise, she would have known when they had left.

She frowned slightly and wondered aloud, "How did you come to see my parents so early in the morning?"

"Simon asked!" Selena said with a shrug.

"..." Emily was astonished.

Selena was chewing on the bread. She archly blinked her eyes and said, "Besides, he told my parents that he would take good care of you, so your parents may rest in peace!"

Now she was all tenderness.

She turned her head and couldn't help but look at the tall figure who answered the phone in front of the window. His profile was so charming, which made her lost in thought for a long time.

After breakfast, her aunt, uncle and cousin saw them off. The black Cayenne drove away.

Her chief editor was quite reasonable this time. Knowing that her family had gotten into trouble, he advanced her three months' salary. Moreover, when she said that she might be several hours late at work, he readily agreed.

Since they came out of the town, they drove on an empty highway.

On their way back to Ice City, Simon was focused on driving. Emily, who sat in the passenger seat, played games with her mobile phone. When she put down the phone and looked up, the Cayenne had driven into the city, and she saw bustling streets.

She turned her head and looked to the side. They didn't speak much along the way, but neither of them felt awkward or uncomfortable. She didn't know when they started to get along with each other as naturally as an old married couple...

At half past nine in the morning, the traffic was slow, and they stopped at the office building soon.

Emily quickly unfastened her seat belt, pushed open the door and ran into the building.

Before she could make it, she heard Simon's voice. "Wait a minute, you left something behind!"

"What?" Emily turned around in confusion.

He had gotten off the car and strode to her.

She was puzzling, while he suddenly reached out his hands to cup her face, then he bent to kiss her. He didn't end it soon, instead, he gave her a sweet French kiss like every time they shared in bed.

The moment she sensed his tongue, there was only one thought in Emily's mind.

D*mn... They were at the TV station's entrance!

Unlike other jobs, a reporter got more time at his disposal. They often carried equipment out for interviewing, so a lot of her colleagues came in and out at this time. She didn't expect that they went public in this way. She had seen her colleagues stopping and watching.

Emily struggled for a long time, but it didn't work at all.

She turned her eyes to the men's clothes on the third floor marked by the sign on the side. She bit her lips with hesitation. He paid their debts and stopped her from selling her kidney in time. So, maybe she should buy him a gift...

Emily went directly to the menswear on the third floor by elevator.

She found a store that seemed to be very compatible with his style. After entering, she took a fancy to the clothes on the model. It was just the charcoal gray that he preferred with slim white piping around the neck, fashionable in design.

Considering his perfect figure and attractive face, he must cut quite a dash in it.

The material was suitable for the current weather.

A salesgirl came over as said, "How can I help you". Since she didn't see the price tag, she asked, "How much is this shirt?"

"Eight thousand." The salesgirl replied with a smile.

"Ah?" Emily was surprised. With an expression of suspicion, she asked, "Are you sure it's the price of this shirt, not this suit?"

"It's just this shirt!" The girl nodded and saw that Emily seemed to like it very much, so she promoted it with great effort. "Miss, it's a nice choice. This charcoal gray shirt is a limited edition in the autumn collection, which just came in. It's the only one in our store, and wearing it is a symbol of your status!"

Emily was hesitating. She was shocked when she heard the price. She did not expect such a shirt to be so expensive. Poverty restricted her imagination. She had no idea about the life of the rich!

She just felt that the shirt was suitable for him, and she could imagine how great he looked when he wore it.

If she could buy it on hire purchase, she just needed to pay six hundred each month. But...

Emily gritted her teeth and was about to pay for it, a young lady suddenly interrupted.

"I'll take this!"
