The sun was shining brightly in the morning.
A military vehicle was parking at the school gate, which had drawn a lot people’s attention.
The man and the woman who had just gotten out of the car were even more eyecatching. The man was valiant in his military uniform, and the woman was gorgeous.
Standing there, they were like the super stars in the movie poster.
"I have an important mission this time and don't know when I can come back. Maybe half a month, or longer, more than a month! You take care of yourself and lock the door at night, okay?" Erik said to Crystal.
Ever since Crystal had seen his naked body that night, she always felt a little shy to face him directly.
Erik was very tall, and her eyes fell right on his collarbone.
While her eyes moved downward, she could see his bulging muscles which were as hard as iron through the military uniform.
Her eyes flickered as she looked away from him guiltily.
Erik smiled and asked, "Crystal, did you hear what I said?" “Oh, yes!” Crystal came back to her senses and nodded cleverly. "Don't worry about me.
I can take care of myself!"
Erik nodded and rubbed her head. "Well, okay! Go ahead."
"Bye!" Crystal waved to him.
"Bye!" Erik waved back at her.
He did not leave immediately, but watched Crystal walk into the campus and then drove away.
While Crystal was walking toward the school building, she saw Riley Macha sitting on the bench. She frowned and purposely quickened her pace to pass by her.
Today's classes were relatively tight.
After a few major classes in the morning, she stayed in the lab all afternoon. She ordered takeout directly for lunch.
By the time she was done with her homework, the sky was already filled with the sunset glow. She took off the one-off rubber gloves and was about to go home.
However, someone was waiting for her outside the building.
This time, it was too late for Crystal to dodge, as Riley was running towards her quickly.
Crystal raised her hand and touched her forehead weakly.
"Miss Macha, what do you want from me?" Crystal asked helplessly.
Riley was a beautiful woman.
She was tall and slender and her skin was very white, but her behaviors were weird.
On the day she learned that Crystal was Erik's sister, she followed Crystal to the canteen and wanted to flatter her. Then she had been hanging around in the campus for a couple days and always tried to get close to Crystal.
Crystal was about to collapse.
Riley stood in front of her and asked with a gentle smile, "Crystal, can you help me?"
Although it was hard to turn her down, there was still nothing Crystal could do for her. "Miss Macha, I think you've made a mistake! The person you like is my brother, and the person you should be pestering is him.
What's the point of pestering me?"
"Erik did not talk to me. You are his sister, so I have to deal with you first before I can deal with him! Just help me!"
Crystal pursed her lips with anger.
Through the line, his voice was low and excited.
Crystal was also pleasantly surprised. "Erik? Have you finished your mission?"
As the daughter of a soldier, she knew this special profession very well. When she was young, every time her father, Adam, went out on a mission for a long time, her mother would wait at home patiently.
It had been a month since Erik left. During this period, it was impossible for him to contact the outside world.
Erik smiled and said, "Well, I just returned to the base early this morning, so I can use my phone now!"
After a pause, he seemed to ask inadvertently, "Do you miss me?"
“Of course!” Crystal laughed.
They had not seen each other for such a long time, so they naturally missed each other. Especially now she was living in Erik's department. Every time she went in and out of her own room, she would subconsciously look inside the master bedroom.
In fact, she was also worried about whether he was in danger or not.
When Erik heard her reply, he also laughed out loud. He seemed to be in a good mood.
"When are you coming back?" Crystal asked him.
"I'll probably get home tonight!"
"Okay!" Crystal nodded.
Hanging up the phone, she thought of something, and looked a little worried.
Erik, who also put down his phone, had a gentle smile on his face. His comrades next to him had been discussing the celebration party in the army at night. They had heard his words, so they asked him, "Erik, are you not participating in tonight's party?"
