Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1109

Anthea, like a little kitten, snuggled up and down in his arms.

She could not be more docile and lovable.

In fact, as he brought out facts and reasons, Anthea already knew that she was wrong.

Since they knew each other, Adam had always been taciturn. He was a man of few words. It was the first time he had said so much.

In addition, he said that she was no longer alone because she had him.

His words had melt Anthea's heart. How could she be angry at him when her heart was as soft as wool?

Holding his firm waist tightly, Anthea said softly, "I know I was wrong. I won't do it again!"

"Alright." Adam curled his lips, patting her little head in his arms.

Anthea, her elfin face looking up at him, explained, "Actually, I'm very good at boating. I was afraid that if I didn't help the naughty boy find his cat, he would go look for it himself and might drown the second time. That was why I agreed to help!"

"Nevertheless, promise me that you won't put yourself in danger again," Adam said.

Anthea nodded immediately, like a chicken pecking rice. "Well, I promise! Please don't be angry!"

"I was not angry at you." Adam put his palm on the top of her head, her hair wrapping around her fingers so soft.

"Don't deny it. You were so fierce when rebuking me in public!" Anthea pouted and said in a very low voice. Yet, she still murmured, "But you were full of charming at that time."

He, in a military uniform, stood there with his hands behind his back, like a tall and upright white poplar. The angry look on his face was intimidating, yet it made him appear fiery and forthright.

Adam sighed and said, "I was just worried about you."

He was really scared and did not dare to think about what would happen if something happened, so he could not help getting angry. Yes, since he met her, he seemed to become more emotional.

As he blurted the sentence out, both of them were stunned for a moment, his eyes meeting hers and their hearts missing a beat.

She had heard something like this once...

When he was on a mission, she ignored the danger and ran out to help him. Though she made things worse in the end, she did all of this out of her concern for him. Thus, she could understand him on this matter.

Anthea bit her lips gently and snuggled into his chest again. "I know it! You're always nice to me."

Adam put out the cigarette and put her big hand around her slim waist, embracing her tightly.

She had said this more than once.

Her voice was soft and gentle. Each word she said caused a string of sweet ripples in his heart like a small stone thrown into a lake.

The sun shining through the gaps among the leaves landed on them, giving them a layer of golden light.

Without saying anything, they just hugged each other in silence. It was quiet around. What they could hear were each other's heartbeats and breathing.

His hand of steel on the back of her head exerted a little more force and pushed her closer to him.

Like a kitten stroked by its owner, Anthea closed her eyes subconsciously, her delicate face raising and her eyelashes trembling shyly.

A smile appeared at the corner of Adam's mouth.

He had only wanted to pat her head and did not expect her to look like a little woman desiring a kiss.

Her appearance like this set his eyes and heart on fire.

He bent, his thin lips on hers.

Both of them concentrated on and only on the kiss.

It was a long, ardent kiss. In the end, they were even a little short of breath.

Anthea, whose limbs went limp because of this kiss, rested on Adam's sturdy chest, having shifted all her weight on him. Even the air at this time seemed to have a sweet taste.

Every time he kissed her, her heart raced.

In fact, she wanted this kiss to be even longer...

Anthea's palm-sized face was flushed, and her pink lips became as red as fresh rose, which looked delicate and charming.

"Captain Chin, a phone call from the headquarter!"

A burst of rapid footsteps sounded - it was Carter who hurriedly ran over.

However, upon seeing Adam was under the tree with Anthea, he suddenly stopped and did not know if he should go forward.

BOO-HOO! How could he run into them kissing every time?

It was dangerous for him because Adam was his superior. And it was torturous for him because he was single!

Adam hid her head in his arms and coughed a little awkwardly, saying, "Ahem, let's go now!"

Carter made a military salute and ran away as fast as he could.

His green military uniform filled her eyes, but her face became even hotter. She shyly tugged at his sleeve and said, "Go quickly."

Adam tried his best to control her impulse. He gently kissed her forehead and stroked away after touching her soft long hair.

His tall and strong back disappeared from her sight. Only then did she dare to look up. As the breeze blew over her face, she felt that even the breath she exhaled was hot.

Anthea cupped her hot cheeks.

When she was about to leave, a small figure jumped out from behind the big tree.

The little boy's clear and crisp voice was suddenly sounded. "Hey, you are a timid mouse!"

Anthea was embarrassed. Looking at this devilish boy coming out of nowhere, she coughed and said with a fierce face, "Shh, don't talk nonsense!"

"You don't want to admit it! I just saw it. You were so well-behaved before that handsome uncle, and you did whatever he told you to do! You fear your boyfriend, and you're a coward!" The little boy put it bluntly.

"..." Anthea was speechless and embarrassed.

The little boy snorted and continued without noticing her embarrassing expression. "And, you two did something that children are not allowed to do just now!"

Anthea blushed again.
