Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1040

"Anthea, you're here!" Alexandria's eyes became redder when she saw Anthea. She pointed angrily at Kyla and said, "I just came out of the library and came across Kyla. She deliberately hit me, and my necklace fell on the ground and was broken. I asked her to apologize, but she refused!"

After dinner, Alexandria did not return to the dormitory with her roommates, but went to the library.

She had to study at seven o'clock in the evening, so she came out in advance. Because she had enough time, she walked slowly. Under the light of the street lamp, she took off the necklace around her neck and wiped it carefully.

Alexandria didn't expect to meet Kyla face to face. When she thought what Anthea said at noon, she decided not to pay attention to her and made a detour. But, suddenly, Kyla deliberately hit her so hard that she stumbled. Even though she didn't fall, but the necklace in her hand fell on the concrete ground with a crisp sound.

The necklace was a relic left by her grandmother. Every time she missed her grandmother, she would take it out and caress it. Anthea and her other two

roommates all knew.

"Is it the most precious necklace of yours?" Anthea asked in surprise.

Alexandria nodded and said in a choked voice, "Yes, it is! Look, the jade pendant has been broken into pieces!"

Anthea looked down. Sure enough, under the street lamp, she saw the necklace on the ground, the red woven rope and the jade pendant which had already been broken into three pieces.

She turned to look at Kyi a fiercely, making Kyi a subconsciously take a step back. But when Kyla realized that she was just intimidated by Anthea's eyes, she suddenly got angry and went forward again. "Anthea, why are you staring at me? Yes, I deliberately hit her, so what?"

"Applogize to Alexandria!" Anthea's face was cold.

"Why should I apologize?" Kyla rolled her eyes, arms crossed, and lifted her chin. "Let me tell you, I won't apologize! What can you do about that? Haha, it’s such a cheap necklace, but she treasures it so much. What a pity. Do you want me to buy her two necklaces in the night market?"

Alexandria couldn't stand it anymore and cried out while pointing at Kyla. "Don't go too far! This necklace is a priceless treasure for me!"

Kyla was not afraid of Alexandria at all. With a proud smile on her face, she continued, "I just said that I could buy you two necklaces in the night market. Didn't you hear that? Or you want me to give you 20 bucks!"

Then she took out her wallet from the school uniform, pulled out the bills inside, and threw them at Alexandria's face.

"You...!"

Before Alexandria finished her words, she saw Kyla deliberately step on the jade pendant.

Then Kyla turned around and was about to leave. Anthea quickly stepped forward to stop her and said coldly, "Don't go!"

Anthea had already seen that Kyla was deliberately making trouble for Alexandria.

Alexandria also reacted and rushed forward to block the way in front of Kyla with open arms. She gnashed her teeth and said, "You can't go. We're not done yet!"

Then there was another student who seemed to be in the same class with the one who talked first. "Alexandria's family is indeed ordinary. I remember when she just enrolled in the freshman year of high school, she almost failed to pay her tuition. She often went out to work as an hourly worker. And she was the last to pay the fees in the class every time!"

"Yeah. And last year, there was a donation activity at school. It seemed that the target was Alexandria's father. Her father was knocked down by a car and the driver ran away. Alexandria's family couldn't afford the treatment expense at the hospital, so the school leaders organized a donation activity. I also donated a week's allowance!"

"Is this Alexandria crazy for money? How could she come up with such an idea? What is the difference between her and the cheaters?"

"Yeah, she has crossed the line. Even the poor have to have selfrespect. It's too shameless of her to do this! She looks very honest, but I didn't expect her to be so scheming!"

In the face of people's denouncement, Alexandria felt very wronged, especially the eyes on her made her feel at a loss, and she could only keep shaking her head.

She wanted to defend herself. "No, I didn't!"

However, no matter how she denied it, not many people believed it.

"But I can see that Alexandria is about to cry. Maybe the necklace is very important to her."

"The necklace has already been broken into pieces. There must be no way to wear it. It's understandable for her to be sad!"

There were also different voices in the crowd, but such voices were quickly drowned out by disdain. "What do you mean by that? No matter how important it is, she can't use it to blackmail her classmates!"
