Watching as the car drove off, Dolly found herself simultaneously stunned and anxious. During times like this, it was always best to get Zivon’s help… Just why was that woman so stubborn…?!

Still, Dolly knew better than to interfere with her affairs, so she simply sighed before giving Stefan a call… but to her dismay, she was only greeted by a voice that said, “Sorry, the number you have dialed is unavailable. Please try again later.”

When Stefan came to S City and wanted to withdraw his company’s shares just to help Xavia, that woman had found out and smashed his phone… and because of that, Dolly—who wasn’t aware that his phone was dead—wasn’t able to reach him at all, not even through calls or WhatsApp messages…!

Sneering in response, the receptionist then said, “Hah. All women who come here to meet Young Master Burton or Young Master Keith give that same reason.”

Though Dolly still wanted to try changing the receptionist’s mind, she ended up getting tossed out by security! Now standing outside the Burton Group, Dolly found her anxiety spiking. She couldn’t contact Stefan, nor could she meet up with Keith… What the hell was she supposed to do now?!

Her train of thought was cut short when she heard one of the security guards say in a polite tone, “Young Master Burton.”

Moving back to Zivon, the second he entered his office, he removed his tie before getting a cold drink of water. That d*mned woman had left him first, so why should he care? He wouldn’t care even if she was dead now…!

Calming himself, Zivon then sat at his desk and began to work… However, it wasn’t long before his mind began wandering… and the second he recalled how terrible Xavia had looked earlier, he couldn’t help but scrunch up the document papers and toss them into the rubbish bin!

“For f*ck’s sake…!” grumbled the man as he headed to the lounge and popped open a bottle of wine. Why the hell did he need to keep showering that woman with affection when she kept failing to understand what was good for her? He couldn’t go soft on her again…!

Meanwhile, Jenna was scrolling through her newsfeed as she lay on a bed in the hospital’s recovery ward. As expected, the hashtag at the very top of the trending tab was, ‘#Breaking news! Xavia imprisoned for abusing a cat!’

Xavia had taken the hit well for her, and each post associated with that hashtag had at least a million reshares and comments…
