“Even if I am worried about Aunt, it’s none of your business! I’ll go and look for Aunt myself! I’ll tell Aunt that you’re an inconsiderate man and ask her to stay away from you!” Maison jumped out of bed and ran outside after shouting at his father.

Zivon was speechless.

That little brat! Just how much did Maison resent him because of all these misunderstandings?!

Zivon's head started to ache and he rubbed the space between his brows wearily.

Meanwhile, Maison had found Xavia’s location and had taken a taxi there.

The night sky was very dark and a cold breeze was blowing. The park was quiet and serene, and only the sounds of frogs croaking and insects chirping could be heard.

Xavia was sitting at the edge of the lake. Her small face was pale and the tip of her nose was red from the cold night air.

However, her eyes were even more red.

Just a few hours ago, she had been a woman living in bliss, bent on preparing a great birthday gift for her boyfriend.

Now, it felt like a cyclone had hit, turning her world upside down.

She figured there was no need for him to hold back since he had so many women, but she was still thinking about him and watching all those videos because of him.

She was ridiculous… so ridiculous it was pathetic.

Xavia, have some pride.

Tears silently flowed from her eyes and stained her cheeks.

“Aunt.” A small voice suddenly sounded.

Xavia turned around in surprise and saw Maison standing behind her. She was shocked, but quickly reached out and hugged him. “Maison? Why are you here?”

Maison pursed his lips and said, “I know about Daddy’s affair that night, and I also know you fought with Daddy tonight so I came to look for you.”

Zivon was not in the car and there were no other cars around; Maison really had come to look for her all by himself.

Xavia felt even more depressed.

Maison thought Xavia was worried his daddy would find her so he said comfortingly, “Don’t worry, Aunt, I hid all our information so Daddy will not be able to find us even if he hires the most skilled hackers. Don’t be sad, I'll stay with you.”

As he spoke, he suddenly thought of something and sighed deeply. “Ah, it would be great if we were not related by blood, Aunt. You could have waited for me to grow up and marry you. I can assure you that I will not hurt you like my scumbag daddy… No. He’s not my daddy, he’s just a scumbag.”

His sadness was definitely on par with Xavia’s, but his resentment ran much deeper.

Xavia did not notice and thought he was deliberately saying those words to cheer her up. She forced a smile and caressed his small face. “Mm. Maison is smart, adorable, and so much better than all the other men in the world. Maison, it's late, so Aunt will send you home, okay?”

She did not know how chaotic it would be in the Burton family’s old mansion since Maison had run out on his own. Additionally, Xavia did not want to involve children in an adults’ quarrel.
