Upon looking up, he was shocked to see Xavia standing frozen at the door! What was she doing here? Whatever the case was, Keith then called out, “Xavia?”

When she saw Keith looking at her, Xavia truly wished that she could just hide in a hole. After a brief pause, she was prompted to say, “…U-um… I didn’t mean to disturb… Do continue whatever you were doing…”

Following that, Xavia was just about to close the door to leave when she heard Keith reply, “Hold it right there.”

As Xavia did as she was told, she watched as Keith faced the secretary before adding in a gentle tone, “As for you, please leave first…”

“…Understood,” replied the secretary as she unwillingly straightened her skirt before getting off the table. On her way out, however, she made sure to give Xavia a glare.

This made Xavia wonder if that woman’s dissatisfaction today would eventually turn to hatred. But… it wasn’t like she had interrupted them on purpose… Hell, if she knew they were doing this now, she’d have never come over!

Xavia’s train of thought was cut short when she heard Keith ask, “So… Why are you here?”

Despite how gentlemanly the elegant man now seemed, that wasn’t the case just seconds ago. True enough, all men were just wolves in sheep’s clothing…

Having a hunch of what Xavia was thinking—from the look in her eyes alone—, Keith immediately explained, “I was just fooling around a bit, and I have no interest in her at all. Please don’t overthink it…”

…So he was still fooling around when he wasn’t interested in her? Then, if he was interested in that secretary…

Not even wanting to begin comprehending how men thought, Xavia calmly replied, “…Whatever the case is, I came here for business. Also, since we’re only dating on terms, I won’t interfere with your personal life. There’s no need to worry about me, it’s your right to date other women.”

With how calm she was, Keith couldn’t help but feel upset. Walking up to her, he then pinned her against the wall as he said, “…You’re my girlfriend, aren’t you? Shouldn’t you be questioning me a bit more?”

Now that he had their attention, Zivon was prompted to growl in a frigid tone, “Correct me if I’m wrong, but the office isn’t a place for such private meetings… Unless you’re saying I should turn this place into a hotel?”

From his tone alone, Xavia knew that Zivon had misunderstood the situation! However, before she could even explain herself, Keith had already wrapped his arm around her waist.

Following that, Keith looked Zivon in the eye while replying, “Lighten up, Uncle Zivon… It’s only normal for me to get… passionate with my girlfriend. Either way, is there anything I can help you with?”

…Passionate? Hah! Still glaring at Keith, Zivon icily said, “We were talking about the documents you were responsible for during the meeting. Here’s the information. Get. It. Fixed.”

With that said, Zivon then looked at Xavia before adding, “…And you’re here to sign the contract?”

Nodding in response, Xavia then said, “I am, though do go through it with Miss Jourdain for now. I really need to use the washroom! I’ll regroup once I’m done!”

Before any of them could respond, Xavia had already run off…
