The person was dressed in expensive clothing and spoke in a very regal manner. He walked with the bearing of a king, surrounded by a godly aura that made him seem unapproachable.
The mask on his face did not reduce his charm in the slightest, but instead added a touch of mystery and majesty to his look.
Was this man Maison’s father?
He was so noble… so charming!
The middle-aged woman was mesmerized, and it took her a few seconds before she found her voice again: “Sir, I'm not saying your son should go to prison, but he did hit my son quite hard. Also, your wife has a bad attitude and she said a lot of harsh things to me—I think your son is not disciplined because she was irresponsible with his education.”
The woman was clearly trying to put the blame on Xavia. Was she trying to sow discord between them because she thought Zivon was handsome?
Unfortunately for her, they were not really husband and wife.
Xavia wanted to correct the middle-aged woman, but before she could, Zivon stepped forward and said coldly, “You’re not qualified to judge how we educate our children.”
After that, Zivon looked at the teacher and said curtly, “I don't have the time for this. Please settle this as soon as possible.”
It was clearly a command. He was implying that he could not be bothered to waste his time on such people, and it was quite obvious that he was a big shot.
When she saw his expensive car, the teacher had already suspected that Zivon was someone important. Nodding, she hurriedly said, “Yes, Sir. We will watch the surveillance video like your wife proposed earlier.”
They watched the surveillance video, and it was just as Xavia had said: Danny was the one who grabbed Yulia first and refused to let her go. He had even kissed Yulia’s face and hand.
The middle-aged woman was embarrassed and angry. “Children are too young to know their actions and my son was just joking. Besides, he did not hurt your child.”
Xavia sneered, “Isn’t emotional trauma a form of injury too? Perhaps my daughter might develop a fear of men in the future because of this, and if it’s serious, she could even develop androphobia. Is this how you teach your son?”
“You…” The woman gritted her teeth.
Zivon narrowed his eyes and said, “We will bear your son’s medical expenses, but since he did something wrong, I want him to apologize to Yulia in front of the whole school. He has to drop out of this school too.”
He then turned to the teacher. “Teacher, please settle this matter. We will leave first.”
After he was done speaking, he started walking away.
“Ah, okay. Sir, Madam, don’t worry—I will take care of this matter properly,” the teacher called out respectfully.
“Aunt, you don’t need to worry about us. Daddy cannot barbecue anything on his own, so you should take care of him, especially since he has taken such good care of Yulia for the past few days!”
“That’s right. I’ve been crying and causing a lot of trouble for Uncle for the past few days. I was not well-behaved at all! Uncle Burton was very patient and put a lot of effort into coaxing me to sleep. He really worked hard.” Yulia did not hesitate to belittle herself. The earnest look on her face was frustrating but also too adorable to resist.
Nonetheless, regardless of whether Zivon had worked hard or not, Xavia was still grateful to him for helping her look after Yulia for a few days.
Xavia picked up a grilled sausage and put it on Zivon’s plate. “This is cooked, you can eat it.”
Zivon lowered his gaze to stare at the thick grilled sausage. His brow furrowed slightly and he asked slowly, “You like to eat these?”
“Mm, yes! Grilled sausages are really delicious.” Xavia did not get the deeper meaning behind his words.
After saying that, Xavia picked up another sausage, blew on it to cool it down, then opened her mouth to eat it. The sausage was quite big for her small mouth.
Xavia had no clue how her actions were affecting the man at the table.
Heat flashed in Zivon’s dark eyes, and he elegantly picked up the sausage on his plate and transferred it to hers.
