“Isn’t it true?” Xavia asked righteously. “You dare to do it but you don’t dare to admit it?”

Zivon’s gaze was intense as he stared at her arrogant and mocking expression. He caught on to what she was saying and growled, “Then tell me…what am I supposed to do if the person I am having an affair with is trying to run away?”

What? He was actually bold and shameless enough to ask her that?!

Xavia finally said, “It is only right for her to run. Men like you are unreliable, and it would be best for her to face reality.”

Zivon raised his brows. “Who is considered reliable then? Men like Keith Burton who are sanctimonious and pretend to be a gentleman? You’re too naive… he is not suitable for you.”

Xavia’s eyes widened.

Weren’t they talking about his affairs? Why was he involving her in this matter now?

She gritted her teeth and said, “Young Master Burton, aren’t you being sanctimonious too? Do you think that you’re suitable for me then, Uncle Zivon? I beg you—please let me go!”

“I just want to live a simple life, and I am living that way with Keith. Why are you constantly giving me a hard time? Do you know that I always feel suffocated and distressed whenever I face you? Tell me, did I offend you in any way? If that is the case, I will apologize to you, okay? I will change. Isn’t that enough?”

Xavia was being very direct, teetering on the brink of an emotional breakdown.
