“Young Master Saltman asked me out for something and I can’t afford to offend him. If any one of you can afford to offend him, why don’t you give Young Master Saltman a call personally? Why don’t you tell him that I can’t go?”

Young Master Saltman?

The only two people who were worthy of being called Young Master in Darlsbury were Zivon and Chace.

Chace’s behavior was known to everyone but whenever his name was mentioned, people could not help but feel frightened.

Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart’s faces turned pale. “What does Young Master Saltman want from you?” Wasn’t this girl a bearer of bad luck? How did she have so many good connections?

Xavia did not answer but simply said, “Since you guys are gutless to do so, I’m gutless either. Goodbye.”

Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart were speechless.

“Look at the arrogant look on her face. How can she possibly remember us if she ever turns her life around? It would already be a blessing if she doesn’t get back at us.”

“Jenna is still the best. She is filial and tries to please us even after becoming Zivon’s fiancée.”

“Jeez. They are both our daughters but why are they worlds apart?!”

It was as colorful, noisy and chaotic as always at Night Paradise Bar.

The men and women on the dancefloor were also swaying their bodies enthusiastically forever as if they did not know how to feel tired.

A few distinguished figures were seated inside the private room with inherent pride and dignity.

“Elder Brother, why did you call us to this place?”

“Could it be that you invited us here to get high because there is a special beauty here?”

Dylan glanced at the several people. “Can’t you guys think about serious business? I told everyone to work together to test Jenna before this. Why hasn’t any of you taken action?”

The few people said aggrievedly, “We wish we could do that but Jenna stays at home all day long and Zivon seems to be aware of us too. We couldn’t get into his villa at all. So, how could we test her?”

“That’s right. We have the intention to do so but we don’t have the power to do so.”

“Elder Brother, do you have any results?”

Dylan snorted. “Of course, I have much more results compared to you guys. If everything goes well, we’ll definitely reap a good harvest tonight.”

Zayne depressedly complained, “I just can’t figure it out. You guys don’t sing, dance or pick up girls every time but why do you still want to come to this place?”

The main point was that it was already bad enough that they did not want to participate in it, but they dragged him along so that he could not participate in it either. He was really pitiful.

Chace swept a glance at him. “You said that you have a method. What is the method?”

He was always so rigid, cold, and straight to the point.

Zayne pursed his lips. “It’s not me. How can I possibly have any good methods coming out of my brain? It’s Xavia. She said that she has a way to help.”

As soon as his words fell, he saw a silhouette outside and said, “She’s here.”

Chace’s eyes deepened and the look of disgust in his eyes was obvious.

He did not have a good impression of Xavia to begin with. After Xavia had that kind of encounter with Keith, he felt that it was an indiscretion even if it was a misunderstanding.

His face was cold as he said, “I don’t want her method.”

When Xavia heard Chace’s words of despise after she had just arrived at the door, she was embarrassed.
