“Signed the papers yet?” asked Hanley the second he picked up.
Pursing her lips, Lea replied, “…Hey, I’m Lea, Fabiola’s sister… She’s currently drunk, and all she currently talks about is you, so... Could you please come pick her up?”
Slightly startled to hear that, Hanley took a while to reply, “…Where at?”
“The Night Falcon Bar.”
“…I’ll be there in ten.”
After hanging up, Lea couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief… and as promised, he arrived shortly after. Well, she could only assume that it was Hanley given how authoritative he looked…
Walking up to him, Lea asked, “…Mr. Robinson, I presume?”
Instead of replying, Hanley simply kept his eyes glued on Fabiola who was muttering things like, “Jerk… Why…?”
Though he paused for a moment, Hanley remained silent… and after a while, he heard her add, “…Since you do, please don’t hurt her like this… Sure, she looks carefree, but this kind girl is secretly very vulnerable… I just don’t want her to suffer because of love again.”
Pursing his lips, Hanley eventually replied, “…I will.”
Following that, he drove Fabiola home… and once they had entered the building, the drunk woman finally began wondering why she was feeling so peaceful… Where was she…? Unbeknownst to her, she had been in Hanley’s arms for a while now… Which meant that she had actually been caressing his face and torso!
Tensing up, Hanley shook his head before gently placing her on the bed… but before he could leave, she grabbed him by the collar and whimpered, “Don’t… leave…! You… You can’t keep treating me like this, Hanley…!”
