Looking as icy as they had described him to be, Hanley Robinson stepped into the room, his eyes as sharp as an eagle’s…
This was the man who had taken over the Robinson Group three years ago, and though he ruled with an iron fist, all his decisions produced great results, which ultimately led to the company standing as high as it was today… It was exactly because of his immense talent in business that many were afraid of him…
Regardless, upon stepping into his office, Hanley immediately squinted. After all, his office was littered with garbage bags and snacks! What’s more, there was a woman lying on his couch, and it even seemed like she had lost one of her socks! Just what on earth had happened while he was gone?!
Shivering slightly, his secretary explained, “T-this is the youngest lady of Young Master Burton’s family, so…”
Now understanding why she had been allowed to do all this, Hanley replied, “…Leave us.”
After the secretary quickly nodded before bolting off, Hanley took a deep breath and began walking through the piles of garbage… and it was then that Fabiola finally snapped out of it and asked, “…A-are you-”
“Who else could I be?” replied the towering man, instantly sending a shiver down Fabiola’s spine. And here she thought that Hanley would be an old man! What gave?!
“You’re so young… For you to manage such a grand business empire…! I can only imagine how great you are!”
Rolling his eyes, Hanley replied, “Putting that aside… Why have you been waiting for me here?”
Smiling subtly, Hanley replied, “Well… I guess it can’t be helped.”
Following that, he signed it without even bothering to read the contents, leaving Fabiola slightly stunned. After all, she had been prepared to pester him for at least a few more days… Regardless, she wasn’t about to give him a chance to say no!
Watching as Fabiola ran off, the shocked secretary couldn’t help but exclaim, “B-but Chairman…! Didn’t you plan to hand that land to Chairman Jacobson?! You even made that deal with him…!”
Ignoring the woman, the chairman then stared at the messy couch that Fabiola had slept in for a while… before eventually muttering, “…We’ll meet again, Fabiola.”
